Carl Panzram only raped men and claimed to have never been attracted to either sex. He did it purely to feel powerful

And on that note, time to go to bed...

Serial killers fascinate me. I read a lot of books about them and own several others more.I dont think I'm weird.Thank you OP!
OuroborosX
Right now there are probably 10 or 20 like this in the middle of their sprees. Be careful out there. Scary world full of monsters.

BTK Killer was heavily involved in his community & church. Bundy gave police advice on how to catch the Green River Killer.

#7 Holmes butchered hundreds of women and children after torturing them to death in the hotel he built for murders. His own house of horror.

There's a post office where his murder mansion used to be in Chicago.

The Devil In The White City
mydawgisgreen
So that is where ahs hotel kind of came from?
ThisIsALovelyRoomOfDeath
James Patrick March is very much based off of Holmes
sgoodspeed
Reading a really great book about Holmes right now, Devil in the White City, about him n the Chicago Worlds Fair where he stalked his victims
Monkeybone5581
Gonna be a good movie
sgoodspeed
They're making a movie??
Monkeybone5581
also read Bloodstains, it's a semi-fictional book by Holmes' grandson Jeff Mudget

I think Scorsese to direct and DiCaprio as Holmes? I need to read this actually.

Ian Brady's quote isn't wrong but he's still a fuckshit.

I met BTK before he was convicted. He lived in my neighborhood as some sort of social worker and he came to our house once. I immediately1/2

hated and feared him. Just looking at him sent chills down my spine. I was so young then, but the look in that man's eyes. Every time 2/3

Dozens of them, Dozens I tell you.

wouldn't be surprised, on another note, they're having another Imugr meet camp, where people will be able to stalk you afterwards.

At least 2, I'd guess.

Dun dun dun.

If you want to know a bit more from the Manson murders read Helter Skelter... I just started reading it
reid2048
Or Manson by Jeff Guinn
mokosmash
Helter Skelter is the first true crime book I read. It's a great read
w4tch3r
Amazing how self aware, articulate and pensive these barbarians are. Angry about them doing nothing to stop themselves. Selfish fkrs.
Donkeyhead
They probably did stop themselves until the first
w4tch3r
Note to self:if you ever find a rational justification for harming others as a means of gratification then it's time to go jump off a bridge
SwordsToTheSkyWeRideAtDawn
Manson's sentence was done 15 years ago.
Panzer89
Wrong. Because of CA v. Anderson in '72, the death penalty is now life instead, which Manson got. He can try for parole but he won't get it.

Yeah, they are too afraid to set him free. Not many cases like this, is there?

I bailed after the guy that said that if he could hear his blood gushing out of his neck after being beheaded that he would be so happy.....
truman801
So, had he cut off the leg, or was it still attached to her? Either way, that's awful.
damspam
Its worded weird, but I think one girl was dead, one alive. He ate the leg of the dead girl while the alive one... shit this is nasty. NEXT!
exosquadwasmyfavoriteshowwheniwasachild
Annnnnnnd this is why I own guns.
Lebeau
Love your user name. It was my favorite show too! Here have my upvote!
Keru
Funny, it's why I own legs.
exosquadwasmyfavoriteshowwheniwasachild
False Advertising, that's not very funny.
KimberCDPII
At least one of these murderers would love to have a shot at your legs... Gun>legs
graehall
That's where I opted out, also. These broken human beings don't deserve my attention.

'I cut off his ears, nose, slit his mouth from ear to ear. Gouged out his eyes. He was dead then. ' 1/2
MissSpaceFace
It keeps baffling me, how genuinely sick some people become. I wonder how. Did they know when it happened? We're they always like that?

Just to be the devils advocate... Literally... Couldn't giving them some "attention" potentially solve the problem?
graehall
On our terms, not theirs.
wildkatrn
What do you mean? I'm just curious. I'm doing my first psych rotation in nursing school
graehall
To not validate them, but to research them on our terms to discover how they tick. There's no research here. It's just their word & actions
BackOnTheToiletAgain
As bad as it sounds, I think Bundy would be an interesting person to have a beer with.
LearnedCoward
He used to volunteer at a suicide hotline. True story.
moskaudeth
He defended himself very well at his trial
Robvp
He was very charismatic, so I bet he would
Rapiecage
that doesn't mean anything. Anyone is "interesting to have a beer with".
LearnedCoward
I've known several people who can easily prove you wrong.
tlazolteotl
ah, you haven't met me. I'm ver boring.
AgentNeoSpy
I down voted this because I really feel like killers should die the ultimate death of being forgotten. I hate seeing things about them
Donkeyhead
I like reading about them. They are interesting.
IamBunny
But it's also kinda good to know to know how they think. A Form of protection if you will
abnormalXbliss
I get what you're saying, but this post had me looking into the victims and wanting to know more about them. Broke my heart for the lil kids
MotherFucknTarzan
Aileen was a prostitute who killed 'johns' who (supposedly) threatened her directly. But the BTK was a church deacon/sorta cop.
LearnedCoward
Dog catcher
MotherFucknTarzan
There we go, couldn't remember if it was that or mailman.
creeperazzi
Manson does make a point...albeit a small one.
Iamsonewatthis
I've read Helter Skelter. Motherfucker is as guilty as the kid with the knife.
Hokage984
My wifes aunt apparently went to prom with him.

I'm sorry, what's his point? To me a lie is a lie. False poignancy achieved through an emotional plea is not a point.
PsychopompGecko
"They're you're children. I didn't teach them. You did." That's actually a good message on the need for responsible parenting there.

To this day there is no proof that Hitler actually killed anyone himself, same thing just smaller scale
MrBananaBeak
If it were true, sure.

Just remember, Squeaky Fromme has been out since 2009.
ArcticPanda
Who?
raptorfences
More often known for her assassination attempt on Gerald Ford.
RosesAreRedMyBedIsGreenIWantYouInItIfYouKnowWhatIMean
If I'm remembering correctly, she's is one of his main followers who was also convicted.
TrogHunt
One of the actual murderers.

JruqsJr
For those that don't know, this is a screenshot from James Cameron's movie "Avatar". It's beautifully shot, but a tad preachy.
TravisBickle13
i wonder why this is so fascinating
zeradeth
I'm 19 and grew up watching crime shows and horror movies. I'm desensitized to this kind of stuff. That's why I find it interesting.
zeradeth
Tragic and twisted of course, but I find other peoples's psychoses interesting.

Because their thoughts are so foreign to the way that most people think.
Donkeyhead
I feel nobody can really understand the thoughts of other people

TUITillIDie44
Great vid, just watched it!
anitabieror6
Cuz all the times you wanted to kill someone you didn't but these people actually did and the difference between you isn't obvious.
Jawesomesauce
Hmm, I'm fascinated, but I've never wanted to kill someone.
anitabieror6
Really never? I've wanted to but not really. Like when ppl drive stupid, or coworkers are useless, or my idiot neighbor talks shit....
Jawesomesauce
Not really... I mean I've entertained the thought, but being annoyed/angry is very far from wanting to kill someone for me
Jawesomesauce
If I'm angry, I mostly just want the person to stop doing what it is that's annoying me. I've wanted to hit people. But not kill them.
SamMan
The scariest part is you could pass most of these people in the street & not look at them twice.
WorkerLurker
this is exactly why I carry a blade
TOTOAFRICA
IMO, Jeffry Dahmer isn't a bad looking guy at all.
bestestfester
That why guns are a thing. I like
PsychopompGecko
You should look up more on H.H. Holmes. He was a real-life supervillain.
therealcoolhand
Better not look at them twice
SithRuleOfTwo
I lived in Rochester NY, where Arthur Shawcross did some of his evil.
bimogen
I was trying to look at each of them and ask myself whether I could see something especially evil in them. The scary bit is that I couldn't.

SamMan
Ok yeah. Manson was pretty obviously nutso. But then again would I think murderer or drug addict if I didn't know?
bustrpoindextr
Really? You can't... Look again, for many of them it's just above their upper lip.
chettlar
I met BTK when I was younger. Not my experience at all. I just made a comment about the at. What you're saying isn't always true fwiw
chaoslordjiro
Yeah. The mugshots, and the knowledge of what they did, add a good deal of creepy. But a lot of them do a damn good job of hiding the crazy.
Fenriswaffles
The crazy is right there. Its just that its reality to them, no more deranging to them then sewing would be to you. Perception is nuts.
AnneFranklyMyDearIDontGiveADamn
Yup. One serial killer even won a dating gameshow.
missfoxwell
Who?
