If you're going to make a vessel that big, it needs to put all that length to use with a ridiculously powerful centerline weapon.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

its not the size, its how you use it

Beat me to it. Up vote star for you!

Imagine how big the death star must be

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@OP the scale is off: Executor class Star Destroyer was only 8 times the size of the Class I.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

19000m (length of Executor SSD) / 1600m (length of Imperial SD) = 11.875. The scale seems about right, or close enough for the model

Sick ship bro too bad a space pickup can one shot it.

Interested can refer to this link. @@ https://jointoy.com/products/moc-7284-pcs-executor-class-star-dreadnought?_pos=1&_sid=1b5867fed&_ss=r

Thought it would cost more

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

it isn't lego, it is knock-off bricks with an instruction PDF

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If the Lego executor was on scale with the lego figurines, it should be 430 m/1423 feet long. A destroyer would only be 27m/90 feet.

Cool, i love StarTrek!

Hubby built the original Executor Star Destroyer(it's on top of the fridge now) and would probably love to build this one too. Cool moc!

They got all this technology, you’d think they could make the outer surface completely smooth.

Double check bridge deflector

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That sucker would have a non-negligible gravity but still not enough to drop bombs within seconds on like they did.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This account just links to lego knock-off sites.

Star Dreadnaught? Wasn't the Executor a Super Star Destroyer?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was. In fact as I recall, "Super" was the class designator for that type of Star Destroyer. As in "Super-class Star Destroyer" /shrug

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty, but is it practical? In a space battle the bigger ship is the easiest target. It's big guns can't hit small targets.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It had an exposed bridge that could be easily taken out by fighters.Palps was smoking mad spice when he ordered them.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That was the big flaw with it. It was designed more as a weapon of fear rather than a weapon of war.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Non the less it could handle entire fleets on it's own. At some point the sheer presence of the ship could made the enemy surrender.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Props to Lego for doing all the design work so these shitbirds could rip it off.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Is this class pronounced EXE-cutor (one that executes) or ex-EC-utor (one that carries the will)?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The latter. A person who executes people is called an executioner.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I would like to buy this kit if it's a thing

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Imagine living aboard a life size version. Could spend your whole life never seeing someone from the other end by the scale of it.

6 years ago | Likes 229 Dislikes 0

Look up the covenant supercarriers from halo. 29km long

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You could live there for a lifetime and not even realise you were aboard a spaceship.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Chances are improved if they organize a few potlucks.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sorta like a US carrier

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I dont even know my neighbours

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean I've lived in the same neighborhood for 30 years and have never seen many people from 2 streets down lol.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's just about any modern office or appt. building, really. Several thousand work in my office and I'm sure I've never seen most of them.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I mean, there are stories of entire sections of the ship rebel against the high command and making some sort of their "own territory".

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Definitely right

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How about living aboard the Supremacy. You'd never seen entire communities. 60km wide. Well.. about 42km+15km ish now I reckon..

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You could live your entire life aboard that thing and only meet about a fifth of its entire population.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(The crew complement of an Executor-class star dreadnought is at minimum 50,000... in the Expanded Universe, at least.)

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actually they're only 19 klicks long :goonsay:

6 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 2

So you know and have met everyone in your city of about half a million?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

:frogout:

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

4 km height gives you maybe a thousand floors though.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Jesus, that's still an over 10 mile long city. They could almost do a full marathon running the outside sections of the ship.

6 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Could easily do one like they do in most cities. Up one way and down another. Could do several dozen marathons and two groups wouldn't cross

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You have to factor in how many decks it has. Granted a large portion can be ruled out for engines and components, it would still be huge.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Yeah cause if each deck is also 10 miles, or roughly that and there is say 100 decks you end up with almost 100 miles of area. Plenty of

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Small countries roughly that size.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I was deployed on an aircraft carrier for seven months and I saw someone new every single day.
