Love Juniper. Luckily Friday isnt feral just a stray. He DOES NOT want to be an inside cat. He comes in for breakfast cuz otherwise the rabboons steal his meat cereal.
It's fine. It's no worse than he might get scrapping with other cats. He did have a big gash on his face one time he had to go to the vet.
And just in case anyone does not know why his ear has been clipped: when a stray or feral cat gets fixed they will clip the ear so it is obvious at a glance they are fixed. It is only mildly painful and heals in no time and makes them look cool.
He is a stray but is friendly. Loves pets and belly rubs and spankings. He does not want to live inside. He will pop in sometimes and eats breakfast inside cuz of raccoons. But always wants outside. Both neighbor ladies on either side has tried to keep him but he aint havin it. He is a loner, Dotty. A rebel.
sounds like he's living his best life then. he's doted on, he gets food, he has a place to go if it's gross outside/unsafe, but otherwise he's got his territory to roam. and he's been TNR'd so he won't be creating more cats for shelters to try and find homes for.

I have a cat like that - he was striped as a kitten and got the name Tiger, then had his pattern turn almost totally black as he matured

I’ve seen semi-feral barn cats at the rescue who had been in so many fights that their ears were basically stubs.
The clip doesn’t bug me at all.
johnblood616
Yeah, and neutered males are less likely to fight. Especially if all the females are spayed.

Is that a calm feral, or a former TNR who has become a beloved pet? I hope it's the latter, because cats deserve as much love as dogs do
