At first, I thought you were talking about a "Marijuana Cigarette".

If I had a tank like that, I'd never leave the house!

So beautiful! You are amazing!!

Reefer?!? That's madness.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

#8 MFW I watch that Netflix documentary on how all the reefs are bleaching. And I’m a fish.

And furthermore Susan I wouldn't be The least bit surprised to learn that all four of them Habitually smoked marijuana cigarettes.

...reefers...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is something I'd be into. But I can't even make my bed every morning so I definitely wouldn't put enough effort in on this.

That's some beautiful microenvironment, I can't go full salty... I'm brackish4life, GSP's represent!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Side note: @walmart please stop selling green spotted puffer's and listing them as freshwater fish that eat tropical flakes. It's abuse!!!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just starting out as of this month :)

@OP I would love to have one, but I am gone in the summers for no more than a week at a time. My family can't take care of a fresh tank :(

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My dad used to have aquariums but in the 1960's keeping salt water aquariums was extremely difficult so he stuck to fresh water. I am amazed

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

at how far the salt water technology has advanced since then.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's impressive!

Yeah, those trailers are pretty cool in the summer. Nice escape from the heal while loading them.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I pull them.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I fill them! I even pop up the dock plate and insert the load bars!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These are absolutely stunning . . . wait. What's that brown stuff? Eww.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your reefing and photography skills are equally impressive.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I like the pictures of the reefs, but we don't need to see your wiping technique..

8 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 1

Hey actually wanting to get into this can some one help me out with this please I need help

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

DON'T GO MARINE FIRST! start with freshwater, learn about perimeters and establishing good tank keeping habits. Then go marine later

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Hi marine biologist here and I design aquariums for a living pm me

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you've never had a freshwater tank, beware of starting with salt. It'll probably go poorly and be a costly mistake

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No idea how it works, but google has a suggestion. http://www.liveaquaria.com/pic/article.cfm?aid=39

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, you walk straight ahead.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im in the same boat as you. I don't know much about it yet, but really want to get into it. This video seems to have some good info 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Getting setup and initial learning is by far the hardest part. Maintenance -> water changes is quite easy if you set it up right.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Don't be afraid to jump straight into saltwater. Start with some of the cheaper things first. Losing a $200 peice hurts bro.

Looks good! Live plants? I've got a pair of 20's, and a 12" cube

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Mosses. Java moss, christmas moss, etc. Just easy ones. Hey, how do you clean your substrates?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Standard siphon, snails, shrimp, and using carpet plants to hide (and exploit) the filth. I use fast growing plants to use excess nitrogen

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah, I forgot to clean my tank for two weeks and all four of my mollys got ICK. :/ Last time that happened.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Live plants, especially faster growing ones, help manage that. Also help fish relax. There's a lot that are as easy as moss to grow too
