You might want to call an exterminator. 1 baby means there’s a million of them hiding in the walls.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it needs to be raised well above the height a 2 year old can reach.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a weird looking dog you got there.

Do you really need to ask ?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck Yeah you do. Sincerly 6’ from my 65” UHD tv

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Baby for scale.

Had to scroll back. Didn’t even see the baby.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Me three

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And not the actual tape measure for scale.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Niether of these are acceptable forms of measurement, where are the bananas?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That tv looks like it could fall and hurt the baby. I get so freaked out when stuff can tip over and hurt someone.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 3

More time for gaming also he can return the TV.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Excuse me, are we on Facebook?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Isn't the baby there to protect the tv in case it falls?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s like really expensive bubble wrap right?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can someone please explain this obsession with smart TVs? How many devices do we need to hook up to Netflix?!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I'd like a SmartTV because I could unhook my current tv from my PC. I've already cancelled my tv subscription for lack of use.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a nice feature if you don't actually have an existing device. Plus they have wi-fi usually, so less cords. Just plug in the power lead.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

as we have seen with cellphones, eventually everything becomes a full on computer

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You (at least i) can't really find Tv's in the size/type you want without it also being smart. I don't even use the smart features on mine.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That is my point. Waste of money for features we don't need. I have access to Apps through DVR, Xbox, Blu Ray....

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've been looking at Chinese tvs...many have excellent displays but are fully "dumb" screens.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I remember back in 1998 when my dad had this keyboard that connected to the tv and made the tv "smart" he could chat w/friends on it 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

change the channel, and then he hooked it up to the speaker phone so he didn't need to get out of bed to order delivery. 2/2 I miss him.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

All of them? I think they are poorly implemented in TV's though. Usually slow interface and cause normal functions of the TV to be slower.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got my parents the 40in of the pictured one. Was amazed at how smooth and easy everything worked when setting it up for them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2.5-3 x display height to viewer's eyes is the ideal ratio according to Panasonic

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So just over 6.6 feet for a 65" screen, if you lean back in the couch it should be just about ideal, actually.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Display *height* or display *size*? The latter is what's quoted, the height is much less.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actual height of active display area, according to a panasonic rep that demoed a plasma for me in 1999.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now you can see "Ow! My Balls!" more clearly.

I’m fucking dying; this is so good.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Don't forget about classic shows like "Where are my pants?"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

oh man, can you imagine TVs only getting larger to make space for ADs. Just a constant flashing AD. Hope they wont have sound.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

They will. Don’t worry.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Can they be targeted at least? I'm tired of car and medication commercials. Two things I don't really fit into their demographics for.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@Op, not only do you need it, you need a 7.2 surround sound with the biggest assed speakers you can find, too.

8 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 0

Actually, with a small child, you don't. You need nice headphones.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

hang on there, he also needs dolby atmos.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Imagine watching porn...uhhh I mean horror movies on that

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa... hold on, There’s a 7.2?!? What’s the other .1?

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

A while back, I saw a Denon system advertising 11.2, and yes, the 2 was for two subwoofers.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Another subwoofer

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

MOAR SUBWOOFER

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This one goes in your mouth and this one goes up your butt. No, wait...

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bestbuy supervisor here, the second .1 is an added Sub woofer you could even get a 7.1.2 which would have dolby atmos up firing speakers

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Thanks!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Um. You only sell one Atmos speaker with a theater? Did you suggest it as the right height or left?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

7.1.2 is 7 speakers,1 sub, 2 atmos tho?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Up firing speakers are generally a last resort for Atmos (read: the lazy way). In ceiling or properly placed height channels are better.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looks like I have research to do.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're correct however ease of use and installation and price can make an Atmos soundbar for example a better choice

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a Sony HTST5000 and it sounds pretty great, but I’ll be damned if I could tell you whether the Atmos drivers were firing or not.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you want to go proper, run 5.0 with a 2 way center and four ~150W RMS 3 way fronts/rears, with a suitable amp. Much better balance.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Honestly, that space doesn't need a 700W system, but surround base is still a magical thing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shut your mouth and never speak of this heresy ever again.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

5.0 with no sub? Then you’re missing LFE. Not sure how that’s “proper”

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With a legit 3 way speaker, each corner includes a sub. The speaker's internal crossover directs power to each driver.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Having a full range speaker connected to an AVR is missing the sub-bass LFE channel. Not transmitted through the speaker level terminals.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Much larger, but a suitable example would be - https://www.electrovoice.com/product.php?id=258

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The funny thing is, I currently run a Denon AVR-591 with a pair of Bose 301 for Front L/R, Bose 151 for Rear L/R, - (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A Bose Center channel speaker, and I have another set of 151's sitting in the box until I can figure out how to mount them. (2/3)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a six year old setup, but it has served me well. May add a subwoofer at a later date.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How are they in terms of quality? I know Boss sometimes gets a lot of hate

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Correction he needs 11.1 surround sound none of that weakass 7.1 shit gtfo

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Needs two subwoofers... so make that 11.2.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Needs Atmos... so make that 11.2.2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is Atmos really worth it? I’ve been wondering if I should make the jump

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No idea. Am just running 5.1. Don't even have a TV right now...
