Book Launch Art Dump

The second book in my High School Oracle series comes out today, so I figured I'd celebrate by doing an art dump of all the commissions I've gotten for it. It's a kind of urban fantasy centered around Yarin, the 44th Oracle as she makes her way through high school life. Break is about managing a school play and a diplomatic incident at the same time. The whole series is a product of me watching way too much anime and having a debilitating case of worldbuilders disease.

Everyone has a weakness, and Yarin's is trashy romance novels.

Yarin is also less than fond of spiders.

As the Oracle, Yarin is the head of state of the Oracle's Vale, as close as you can get to a God-Queen in the world of Senraxi. But even she has to hide her banned energy drinks from the class officer, Solyn.

Yarin is a member of the theater club, where she can be a part of the team without being the center of attention. Her friend Imilia is an Aito, born with horns and Geokinetic abilities. Here they test using a boulder as a substitute winch for special effects. Artist is Gael

In Break Solyn signs up at the last minute to help out with the school play. Signing up late means you might not find a shirt in the right size. Artist is hi6ka9

The play is 'The Fleet on Kurodor', a historical play with the Oracle Sky as the main character. Here Sky's actress Adalla gets some advice from Yarin on playing an Oracle. Artist is Chaos Child

On the right is Bwari, a boy from the faraway country of Ibscaal. After he is chosen by an artifact sacred the the Atemzlite religion, he takes refuge in the Oracle's Vale to get away from paparazzi, fanatics and politicians.

Even though her Ministers run the country for her while she's young, Yarin still has to step in for some official duties. Luckily she gets some downtime between events. Artist is Alyssa Avery.

Akosh, Champion of the Oracle and Yarin's adoptive father, served in the Light Airborne Infantry during the Kirzuura Strait War. They both have very different opinions and what is and is not good coffee. Artist is Stefano Marineti

Yarin with Adrae, her official Minister of Fuck Off. Yarin has a hard time saying no, so she's delegated that responsibility to Adrae. He's very good at it. Artist is Atre Jane

Imilia loves horror and has her own horror and makeup tutorial channels. Sometimes Yarin helps out in them.

Yarin has two younger siblings from her adoptive parents that she adores and spoils as much as she can.

The Class Officer and the class punk don't get along very well. Who could have seen that coming?

A plot point in Rigged, Solyn strong arms Yarin into signing up to run for the Master of Ceremonies position of the upcoming school festival. Yarin spends the rest of the book trying to throw the election in secret.

Being the Oracle has some unusual benefits, one is you get to hang out with The Loyal One, God of Dogs.

The Blulin are former mine spirits who now live in the sprawling subway system of the city of Isinmari. Invited to live there by one of Yarin's predecessors, they occasionally reach out to the new Oracle for help.
