I thought it might be interesting to show you guys some of my traditional work... and who doesn't love some progress shots? I love this moment, right before the first colors are added. I like to tape the work onto a wooden board to prevent bending in the paper from the water.
Here is the initial sketch. I love drawing succulents and pretty girls... I use lots of references online for poses and flower shapes. I use a mechanical pencil with .3 lead.
A good amount of color down. I needed to take a break to let the paper dry so I took this pic.
Final piece :) the hair and skin color were added in photoshop, as well as deepening the colors and making them more vibrant. I hope you enjoyed these work in progress pics!
