Take an old battle damaged trebuchet
If you don't have a trebuchet any old siege engine will do
Dismantle it
Cut the base boards into 15 inch panels and screw together to make 4 steps
Clamps are your friend here
Screw the steps together
Again with the clamps
Have a break
Build a frame
Attached steps to frame and add extra support
Cover in carpet
Install in the bedroom
In use
She's a bit unsure about them so have been getting her to using them with the promise of cheese

I did something really similar for my 2 dogs. I made a ramp but with stepping slats. At first, they avoided it, but now theyre pros at it.
