pathfinder is D&D on steroids, we've beaten D&D CR 12 modified iron golems with 2 level 6 characters, barely but we did it.

You obviously haven't played HERO system. You may need a spreadsheet to make a character, but you can make literally anything.

I actually design them on paper first, then type up a story and maps in word, then turn that into a pdf for people to use.

I just recently switched to roll 20 due to distance reasons after being a part of over 30 campaigns and so far it's enjoyable.

There's no way that I, personally, would have gotten into pathfinder if it were not for roll20. We have players from the US, CAN, and AUS.

i recommend the beginners box if youve never played a tabletop rpg. it has premade characters and an adventure that is short but fun.
