I work for a company that has a contract with the Department of Family and Child Services. I've seen everything from fighting tooth and nail to get a better job, to leaving abusive spouses, to quitting drugs after decades of abuse. To those who try their absolute hardest for their children, you the real MVP, and I am beyond proud to have worked with you.

Friend did this after she got knocked up. She had it in her, so it's a bit of a shame it took an unwanted pregnancy to get her head right,

I used to be awesome and now that I have kids I'm grumpy, tired, and poor. Does that count?

If you're doing right by your kids, kudos. I can offer you an upvote.

I have given up on my brother ever changing.

It's heartwarming to see just how hard people will try for their kids. And the dark part of me always wonders how long it will last.

You are part of the reason I love my job. Congrats, thank you, and I am so amazed by that kind of strength and determination.

As someone who deliveres babies, this makes me feel better. I hold a lot of kids for the first time and worry they don't have a chance.

We just have to do the best we can. There's always going to be those few cases that make you want to pull your hair out, but the ones who

And that's exactly why I don't want to get married and have kids. Because they will be the reason I stay until my expiration date.

I have almost 8 months sober now and I cannot go back to that life again. Not just for me but for my wee munchkin.

I work with the children of those parents. They fight so hard. The kids are so tough. It's those kids who have a fighting chance now.

It makes my heart melt when I get to see the kids. They've got some serious personality!

It can be so tough though. Especially developmentally.

It's heart breaking sometimes. I will probably never forget the day I saw a little girl draw a bandage over her vagina, then start crying.

Sexual abuse? At least that's what it sounds like. It's far too common. Especially incest in the area where I'm working. But it's always
