Some fair points! However (IMHO)
1. Generally using other culture's vampires (Nure-onna, Obayifo, Stregoi, etc) follows the rules of said creatures, & don't draw from modern western fiction mythos.
2. There's 100 years of (Dracula-ish) vamp canon many of which either directly (Buffy vamps don't reflect in windows) or indirectly (Dracula holds a silver candlestick) contradict the "It's the silver" theory.
3. ergo "Silver mirrors lol" directly contradicts the whole of the canon it's referencing.
