This is the last picture I have of my dog. Because of the unique way my company understaffs us at all times. My wife had to do it alone. It was just supposed to be a check to see how much time we had. Her doggy dementia had gotten really bad the last 2 weeks. The compassionate thing had to be done. There was no hope of improvement.
She would pace for 8 to 10 hours a day near the end. Didn't know where or when she was. Or where and when bathroom time was. But damn she was cute.
My wife had her for 14 years. I've been here for 5. We guess she was 15. I convinced my wife to adopt a cat 4 years ago. Macy was always terrified of him, but eventually his efforts payed off and they bonded. Sort of. Lol
Goodbye, Macy. We will always miss you!!!

My condolences. Our dog is 14.5 years old, and is getting doggie dementia. Still enjoying life most of the time, but we know the end is near. It's tough.

We started a good day/bad day count. She hadn't had a good day in over 3 weeks.

Yeah, it's time.
