See that tiny thing beside it? Yeah, its full grown yellow jacket and like an inch long.

Look at that friggin stinger!! It was easily 1/4 inch.

No banana for scale, but damn.

So a friend and I were walking the track at our local civic center and we saw this in a window sill. Everyone says its a Japanese Hornet that I've showed it to. I live in Alabama. I do know these things get around.

I found two, went and found a Styrofoam cup and brought it home because I am a weirdo.

I live in Arkansas and have seen one of these monstrosities alive. It ended up in the back window of my car. First saw it while doing 55mph.
