With reproducible, large sample, double blind study analyzed in a meta study?

I thought for sure that was fake, but it isn't. https://www.today.com/food/its-got-be-crispy-woman-105-says-bacon-key-longevity-1C9846050

#1 I wish some adults would go ahead and do the exact same thing. Would save a lot of heartache.

#24 wait, 'teen spinach'? What's that? I'm already slightly confused by things like 'baby spinach', sounds like it's for baby's or something

Yea, Post-Scriptum-Scriptum doesn't make any sense.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Important distinction: piracy isn't killing the music industry. iTunes was, but now with streaming it's actually experiencing growth

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Googled “Han Solo rug” and was not disappointed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#8 Something something blackface.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#15 Many people are way to lazy to go to the library, so they just buy the books, while u can easily download music at home

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good dump!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Thank ya, thank ya very much.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a nice pinup

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck geese

8 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 0

I try, but they're so fast.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Highly evolved dinosaurs.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm currently in the yearly battle to chase them off my pond every morning lest they nest and destroy the ecosystem.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Keep up the good fight!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks. I'm at the point with this year's geese where they often don't stop at my pond, but just fly over honking at me in protest.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd rather eat them after roasting them...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're a necessary evolutionary pressure so that only the strongest survive

It's a little known fact that Canadians are so nice because they take all their hate and put it in the geese, to send down here.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

True that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Perv.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#15 because it‘s bs? Pyracy is just straight up stealing. Libraries purchase the books and you pay a monthly fee for using the librarie 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Look at Spotify 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Scrolled past everything to say I upvoted simply bc of the 2nd one hahaha

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

#2 for anyone to lazy to scroll

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Too*

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

#too ? That doesn't look right....

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Scrolled past everything to say +1 for numbering.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#15 probably because it takes effort and going outside the get a book from the library

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you not recall the early days of downloading MP3s? Shit was a hassle, & half the time you ended up with something you didn't mean to d/l.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always let my so download everything I need, so... :p

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I remember taking a week to d/l some obscure Johnny Depp movie only to find out it was in Russian with no subtitles. I was so upset.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not anymore. Most libraries have ebooks.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

haven't visited a public library for a long time, only the one of my university. But interesting to know :)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah you can just check out the website for your local one to see. Usually just need a library card and you're good to go.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#15 The books have to be bought, the songs are stolen. The books are loaned, the songs are kept.

8 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 5

The piracy helps artists by making them known. The artists gain notoriety = money from concerts. Money from discs < money from live shows.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

This is the same argument as "you should paint for me for free because its exposure". You're not wrong, it just doesn't justify crime.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Besides libraries are a little less popular I'd guess

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Right? How do people not understand this?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

You are technically correct, the best kind of correct...but I'm just going to leave this here...1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Songs are kept ? Where ? If you read a book and you copy it, is it piracy ?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

-- also, yes. If you were to rent a book and then completely copy that book down, you've pirated that book.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"songs are kept" .. On your personal device, for infinite playbacks, similar to how if you STEAL a book you can keep it at home and read it?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can play any song on Youtube for infinite playback and it’s not considered piracy cause the artist gains money from publicity.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The difference is that the artist typically puts that there themselves. One is not entitled to anything they haven't paid for, artists--

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They gain money from ad revenue you fool.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Wow, so Gandalf of you :)))

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

-- are entitled to things they've created. Consent is important in more matters than sexual.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Content is out there without anyone’s consent. The internet has downsides. Welcome to the future

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Art should be free. What consent ? Don’t need one. Just because I want to listen to something doesn’t mean I’m hurting the artist.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The first one reminds me of when my daughter ran away from home at the age of 7. She ran away to the porch... stuffed animal and all.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I was 4 I ran away, put my stuffed animal in a wagon and walked around the block.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#8 for some reason to me, instead of looking like two dudes facing the camera with their arms around their backs, it looks like to guys(1)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

facing away from the camera jerking each other off.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly. They're beating off racism.
