Shame the NFL will never hire a gay player because damn I would love to get him wet.

I may have messed up the math but isn't that only a little better than making $25/hr with a 40hr work week?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea. It's nothing special

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And here I'm doing real work, like a sucker

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a person who actually does this as PART of their career, this is offensive and misunderstood. That is an athletic trainer. But he missed!

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Most football players like to be sprayed in the face to cool down

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You'd figure someone with the word "athletic" on their job title would at least have a little better aim :/

Thank you! I'd love to volunteer

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you're a volunteer you don't get paid.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

1) a person who voluntarily offers himself for a service or undertaking 2) a person who performs a service willingly and without pay

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Man you must really enjoy not being paid to squirt..

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'd pay to see her squirt, if you know what I mean

My friend was a "waterboy" for an NFL team once. He's a certified athletic trainer. They do more than give guys water and towels.

8 years ago | Likes 917 Dislikes 7

Hahah you americans are lame.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So, would you say then that he's an athletic supporter?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm also certified athletic trainer, and I say thank you for your comment.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yea they become very good football players when angry

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Shhhhhh don't rain on the parade

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thank you. I've worked for an NFL team and a whole lot more goes on behind the scenes than people realize

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The fluffing responsibilities and managing the post game team orgies alone garner $40K

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I knew some guys who were equipment managers for pro teams. NOT an easy occupation to get into and usually require a medical related degree

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Trainers, yes, but equipment managers don't do anything medical. Both can be tough jobs with long hours though.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I meant the equipment managers were familiar with the team trainers. I worded it poorly. Ironically, the guy I know has a Kinesiology BS.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

they're probably significantly underpaid, relative to their qualifications/responsibilities

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Doubtful. It's overwhelmingly in the best interest of the owners to pay more money to attract better medical staff to keep players playing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I doubt it. I can do most of our athletic trainers jobs. And it's not like it's a particularly high paying profession

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

What is it you do that makes you mostly able to do an athletic trainer's job?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm an athlete that's in the AT room 1-2hr a day. I'm still an undergrad. Ofc some of their tasks I can't do (or are not authorized to do)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But my point is that in three years of regular observation (and getting worked on/asking questions) I've learned quite a bit

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

without any formal training or education
