Or the SCP Foundation, for that matter.

#6 Dude's got fucking Nanoha on his side. The enemy is so screwed.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

P sure that's frieren, actually

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, could be. They have very similar taste in staff, hairstyle and outfit. And I guess Frieren would still be around by that point.

What is going on in #2?

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Looks like some stormtroopers/scions fighting a Thousand Sons sorcerer and a chaos spawn.

Inquisitorial storm troopers and some members of the inquisitor's retinue, including probably an interrogator or explicator, fight a daemon in an Adeptus Administratum facility. Looks like the storm trooper sergeant wearing the power fist is trying to control the priest who is maybe panicking.

Inquisition, the absolute penacle of rules for thee not for me within the imperium. No oversight, no restrictions, countless radicals in every imaginable direction. What could possibly go wrong?

Innocence. Proves. Nothing.

I feel like the phrase "what could possibly go wrong?" doesn't exist in the Warhammer 40k universe... because everything is already wrong...

And the more things go wrong the better they get? Like I love the meme that the rest of chaos is pissed at Abbadon because every time he has a seemingly minor victory another loyalist primarch returns and the imperium gets more new better equipment and gear and whatever Abbadon achieved never seems to have a negative impact of any meaning on the imperium.

They arguably have oversight but it is like the cops, mostly internal. Though, I will say that some powers choose to ignore or try and overrule them. In Eisenhorn, a witch hunter from the Ecclesiarch tries to go after Eisenhorn.

I think the Inquistion can excommunicate an inquisitor by a vote from at least 3 other inquisitors, or something like that. But even then, the rogue could have caused apocalyptic problems by the time their vote occurs, and that’s if they can notify the imperium the rogue’s credentials aren’t valid. Otherwise I don’t think there’s any oversight. The only people that will stop them are Astartes bold enough to say no, and the custodes. Both of whom will remind an inquisitor of the food chain

Inquisitors regularly treat other Inquisitors like the Catachans treat Commissars.

There is, of course, the fact that seemingly Inquisitors can also just take each other off the board and receive very little reprimand. I guess that as long as it doesn't interfere with existing investigations or harm the Imperium, no one cares.

The man is a soldier, he's used to being shipped.
Just, shipped out, not shipped with.
