I 100% thought this was going to be a butthole

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But I spend 300hrs on a video game and it's a "waste of time"

Step two: Draw the rest of the fucking Owl.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I spent like three hours doing shading the upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done.

"So, how long is this tattoo going to take?" "Hmmm. Should take just a glimpse beyond infinity multiplied by the depths of forever."

Pointillism at its best. Bravo.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

My laserjet printer can do this in about 12 seconds.

She kind of looks like she could use a shave

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pointillism was always my favorite in art class...

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

that's like, what, less than a minute?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not gonna lie i was expecting the end result to be a butthole

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Too much free time.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Here I thought it was gonna be a butthole

Stippling. I spent a year working for the patent office, and all drawings had to be stippled.

The level of patience this must take makes me very uncomfortable and fidgety

7 years ago | Likes 193 Dislikes 2

I'm extremely patient as an artist but this would make me crazy.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Well then I guess you’re not EXTREEEEMELY patient..

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Who's counting the dots?

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Exactly. Or at least: how did they estimate that?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Step 1: count dots per minute. Then calculate : dots per minute x 60 = dots per houre. >>> 300hours x dots per houre = ~ total dots

Genuinely curious but why are all of the greatest artists male? I feel like in my life that women are more of the creative/artistic types

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I think it's the same question in all fields, I feel that it is connected with men being valued through their work more.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

both of those statements are wrong

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Yes, my observable opinion based on my experiences around me are wrong. Prick.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

This type of art is called stippling.

7 years ago | Likes 286 Dislikes 5

I KNEW THIRD GRADE ART CLASS WOULD BE GOOD FOR SOMETHING

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I thought it was pointilism?

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Not to be confused with striping

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Or nippling

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nipple ring

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I have stipples, Greg. Can you art me?

7 years ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 0

I just saw "Meet the Fockers" at work on Tuesday, LOL! (Yes, I know that line is from "Meet the Parents," but still.)

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Alright take your fucking up vote

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How does it differ from pointillism?

7 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 1

I was told that they're the same thing and the terms are interchangeable but I could be wrong

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

More colors

Pointillism is the style. Like cubism right, but its made by stippling.

Thought this was pointalism so I looked it up. Pointalism uses dots of many colors to form an image. Stippling uses the density of one color

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...neat

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's exactly what I thought!
