Amid the shutdown, while fed employees aren't getting paid anyway, this would be the best time to general strike. They may as well all general strike. Now would be the easiest time :)

Our protests would be much more effective if we all decide to stay home one day. No one goes to work…no one opens any shops…no money everything stops but hospitals…the rest of us fight. I’m trying to figure out how we can do this and keep people fed for a day all over the nation. But how fast would they come back to the table if the entire country came to a freaking halt.its how they do it in France. And it works. It just hurts for us that don’t get paid if we don’t work…but maybe worth it?

How would that work? I can change my W-4, but the company doesn't have to send that in right away (maybe never?) And they don't send my taxes separately, so I'm not sure the government would even notice.

The withholding is a service the company provides, so at the end of the year you'd get your tax bill instead. Thats ultimately when the IRS would expect remuneration. Legally, taxes are supposed to be trued up quarterly, if you're self employed for example

Oops!!! #4 tells me what's going to happen to the 2 survivors. All the other reports said 27 killed. This one says 29 killed.

I think the 27 wasn't counting the strike in #4. That strike killed two, and had two survivors.
