But I was taught in school the US are the good guys, freedom, democracy and all that. Only countries like Russia or North Korea teach their kids lies, oppress them and drown them in propaganda. "Sure... the US was the only country in history to ever use nukes on civilians... but we saved lives by using it." is something we tell ourselves while telling other countries they can't have nukes.
