+1 for title

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you wanna play Duke3D, I definitely recommend the Megaton Edition on Steam. Doom as well, though you'll need to download ZDoom for that.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I appreciate that title. Please let it not suck.

Speed Ball: Every 2 Minutes: "Center forward down" and "Ice cream! Ice cream!"

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Emulators. No need for internet.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Snes Aladdin > Sega Aladdin

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Prince of Persia has a game? That must be how he got all the money he's sending me!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just visit www.emuparadise.com - enough said.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Backyard Baseball?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Of my gosh, I haven't seen Earthworm Jim since I was like 8!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's because you don't know how to party

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wolfenstein??

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

+1 for Super Metroid.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Best atmosphere in any game I've ever played.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You could have just linked a rom site. What's the point of pretending this is any different?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No downloads

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Razzle Dazzle!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He's really heating up!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean... A link to www.playretrogames.com would have sufficed.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Or emuparadise.com with all of this and more.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Duke Nukem 3D is on Steam (The old, good one) http://store.steampowered.com/app/225140/

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have the original release (v1.3d, BEFORE atomic edition) on CD. It has Duke1 & 2 and a bunch of other shareware-type games

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

my local retro arcade has a mvs arcade cabinet but instead they habe FATAL FURY EW

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hehe, those shelves are next to my 4-slot MVS cab. Usually running SamSho II, KoF'98, Metal Slug 3, and Last Blade 2. :]

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just saw my childhood flash before my eyes. It was beautiful.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Yes! The nostalgic feels! Da Feeeeellzz

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some of these games are still available to purchase.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

All of the nintendo based ones are available on the WiiU virtual console through the nintendo store for a couple bucks each.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd much more play those on an emulator that has much less risk of losing my saved games.

10 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 1

I had almost beaten a link to the past on nesbox before it got shut down, was not happy

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And that I can play without Internet access.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

And you can render larger, and use AA for better graphics

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

If you want to play them legally: Genesis games today are on Steam/Wii/Wii U. SNES on Wii/Wii U. Sonic and a few more also on iOS/Android.

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 4

Also at the Wii U virtual console, Game Boy Advance games like Golden Sun and the various Metroid/Castlevania/Zelda games(like minnish cap)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Waiting for GameCube is browser since Nintendo doesn't support it within virtual console or Wii U. :/

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

N64 games also are on Wii/Wii U, and PS/Xbox classics on PS4/Xbox One. (Just saying you can still support the developers.)

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Seriously I think Super Metroid and The Zelda SNES are like 6 bucks on WiiU at the nintendo store.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The Doom games are sold on Steam.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

And GoG, if you prefer DRM-free.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Streaming is legal in Canada. Uploading breaks the law.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Like how prostitution is legal, but paying the prostitute isn't?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Every game for SNES and MD/Genesis are easily got free. The systems are gone, they made a fortune. No one cares or they wouldn't be up.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

No, that's not right. They do care that their property is being stolen, but the cost of litigation makes suing them a wash. Even if they did

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

sue the websites that host the files, the site owners would just disappear and start a new site somewhere else. Publishers can't endlessly

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

play whack-a-mole trying to eliminate the pirates and waste their revenue in courts. That doesn't mean they don't care or piracy is legal.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Well I spent every penny I got on these games at the time and still support the wiiU so I have no ragrets about my emu collection today

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can also find battle toads at Gold and Silver Pawn shop on the Las Vegas strip, just call and ask.

10 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 4

Yep, they're giving em out for free, just give them a call.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't think I've laughed harder at any thread than I did at a Far Cry 6/Battletoads Gamestop crank call thread

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

EXCUSE ME! I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW I'M PRIOR MILITARY. BATTLETOADS DIVISION

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Aladdin was the real Contra. Critically acclaimed and often referred to as the "Contra Killer".

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

No

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I could neither upvote, nor downvote this. neutralvote.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I went to downvote you, but your username made me change my mind. WOOO, A FELLOW DAYTONIAN!!!! FIRST IN FLIGHT, BITCHES!!!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You should probably downvote because I'm not from Dayton. But, upvote, because I just proved the point: Dayton, OH is, in fact, watching!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you just need to go up up down down left right left right B A Select Start

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Look guys, a real gamer! He shows us this by reciting the Konami code everybody and their mother knows!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Now you got 30 lifes[1/2]

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ain't no one got time for two player.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mega Man was basically my childhood hero, and it pains me that he isn't exactly great in Smash Brothers. Thank God for Link! He kicks butt.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I would assume, he added to his favorites tlonly to forget all about it

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

I was assuming they just put it into a different tense, not asking what it means

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Happens to me, so I end up commenting on very important ones that I want to remember... and then forget...

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have most of these in a dresser filled with consoles and corresponding games.

10 years ago | Likes 162 Dislikes 5

I thought I was the only one

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Got battle toads?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

HERETIC! I've bought old tvs at yard sales so I can play my old systems. I need to get an adapter so I can plug them into HDMI. Do the same.

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

My HDTV has the good ole R/W/Y connections still. Makes me very happy

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I need an old TV just so I can use my Guncons again.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Heh, I just threw away a perfectly good 36" CRT. It was so large and heavy that I needed a dolly to get it down the stairs!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I as well, a couple years back. It's a shame it couldn't be salvaged but something that heavy just isn't convenient for retro gaming.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My brother has a 25" Philips/Magnavox set up to play NES, SNES, N64 and PS1 games.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Each drawer has a separate console. I will probably take a hole saw to them and run all the cables. I have a 27inch tube to play them all

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Post

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That will be glorious. Can I come over to play? I can bring games, too!

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Yes, but I will require a blanket fort and http://scene7.samsclub.com/is/image/samsclub/0004178000357_A?$img_size_380x380$

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0
