Pokémon support is an absolute joke.

The initial problem.

So I decided I was going to get back into the Pokémon TCG and downloaded the TCGO again. After a few failed password attempts I decided to try the account on Pokémon GO. When that failed I decided to try on my browser as I knew I stored the password in an extension and that failed also.

At this point I was concerned. Did I change the password to something I've forgotten? Off to the "Forgot your password?" section! After many different email accounts I was restricted and decided to take it to their support branch..

The plea.

Whether or not my email was read swiftly was not my concern. What I wanted was a legitimate response for assistance. Surely they can help me with this problem and retrieve my account, right?

The acknowledgement.

After a little over a couple days we got a response. "Huzzah!" I thought as I quickly clicked the email to see their help. ..An automated response is all I got. They didn't even read my email to figure out what the problem was. I went to the site to reply yet that required logging into the account I'm trying to retrieve. Sound logic, right? After that I then tried to reply to the response telling them I had already done the suggestion yet the reply was rejected because the ticket was marked as closed. With no way to reopen the ticket I decided I'd send another email in. Maybe they'd listen this time?

The second plea.

Again I tried to call for help. I emphasised that I had already used their recovery system to no avail and that this account was important to me. I even sent multiple images with me using the account in the past to help reinforce that this account was mine. After clicking send the wait began again.

The broken record.

Over four days pass and we receive their response again. ..It's literally the same message. Again they refused to even read what I had said or what images I had attached. Was this an automated response? Was the support team too lazy to address the issue? 

..Hundreds of hours of one game, thousands of another; Thousands of real currency all lost and the cause is still unknown. At this point I've given up trying to reason with them as I know I'll just receive the same message again so now I call to the only place I know where I may be able to receive help.. The public. Hopefully with enough attention we can get The Pokémon Company to address the issue that is their own support branch not only for me but for every player that may ever experience the same issue. If you got this far, thank you for your time.

If I spent thousands of $, I would remember my password

I know my password and email, neither show up as valid on their site or games. I'm trying to work out the same issues as the OP.

I'd say for all the boosters, elite boxes, theme decks and special boxes.. Nearly £2000? It really sucks to see all that suddenly disappear
