Those fruits look clean enough

Dude didn't even flinch - he knew they wouldn't spray his stand.

I get it, but he should have been dressed up like the Grinch.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The mosquito poison sprayer guy did me a solid by turning off the sprayer as he drove by and then turning if back on some way down the road.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jokes on the fruit stand guy. His roadside IED didn’t even go off.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Neat

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not kindness, normal decency

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Sadly, in today's world that is considered kindness.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

New la croix flavor, water truck that drove by a guy selling oranges on the street.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Our town doesn’t have street sweepers of any kind....

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In Seville they had guys pressure washing the street in the morning, it was immaculate.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's like saying someone is kind because not punching people atm

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

More like swerving to not hit someone.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Plot twist: he put them near the road to be washed

7 years ago | Likes 1743 Dislikes 11

The mudder yucker missed me ....

7 years ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 0

In china you don't get freebies like that.\

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Further plot twist: Driver saw the camera.

driver did it wrong, you suppose too turn up the pressure and knock him on his ass.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

this is so cool because I learned the word for this street cleaning vehicle today.洒水车。Lit. sprinkle water car.

"5 Uxi please" https://imgur.com/5LD9N53

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's nice. I don't think the roads around here get washed.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Is it effective though or does it just create a slippery surface?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It gets dry in 5min

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How far can you skid in 5 mins?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Depending on the climate, it may not be necessary. In a place that gets a lot of rain, nature takes care of it.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Being kind ≠ Not being an asshole

7 years ago | Likes 359 Dislikes 29

Right. In some cases it is both though.

7 years ago | Likes 79 Dislikes 1

Well, in this case it did take a little extra effort and required the driver to be paying extra attention, so I think OP gets a pass here.

7 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 1

It may not be kind, but it was thoughtful and considerate...

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm a nice asshole.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Somwtimes it's hard to tell nowadays.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are they washing the roads? won't rain do that to a degree? Or are they spraying the roads for another reason?

7 years ago | Likes 291 Dislikes 7

They're spraying to ensure the asphalt harvest...

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I spent a couple months in Albania where they also do this. Supposed to help keep dust down and provide some jobs to communities

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The thirsty asphalt needs moisture to stay succulent

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

For some reason thinking that asphalt is succulent gives me shivers

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Were I work they do this to minimize the potential releases of radioactive alpha particles.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's probably a region where rain isn't a occasional weather, but a season. Means also there is a season of not raining.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is australia over summer with no rain, the dirst hinr of moisture the roads get really bad from all the dust and so its good to spray down

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If it’s been awhile since it’s rained, they’ll wash roads here. Otherwise, when it rains the roads get super slick due to oil etc. from cars

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Taking into account the looks...I bet it’s a very dry place. Grease/oil/slicky stuff likely builds up on road surface and never gets...

7 years ago | Likes 109 Dislikes 0

Washed away. My bet is it’s some sort of bio friendly degreaser (maybe) so the roads aren’t a slick track at the slightest add of water.

7 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

Bio friendly.... having high hopes today arent we

7 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 0

Exactly why I plugged in that (maybe)! Lol

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Username check out?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's also meant to cool the concrete to prevent melting and deterioration. Doesn't really work

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And rain water contains particulates that causes algae formation.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some places spray a solution on the roads before snow/ice to make it easier to plow and aid in melting.

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 11

Yeah, but I doubt that in this case snow/ice has anything to do with it.

7 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Maybe not, but what I'm saying is there are a number of reasons a gov't could be taking measures to protect their infastrstructure.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Gravel and sand on the road is a hazard for motorbikes.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Don't forget the dust and molecules

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Do they not wash roads where you are in the spring lol

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They don't, that's what the rain does.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They do here in Canada. Lol

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

lol

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It rains somewhat frequently during the spring where i live. We have a couple dirty roads, but we try not to be prejudice.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the UK we keep our skid pans off the main highway as this public education film explains.

I swear, the UK and EU have the craziest PSA videos...

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is so horrific it almost looks like a comedy sketch. I was expecting a morbid punchline. Why would they make something like this.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I haven't laughed so hard in a while.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

i will never get over how brutally hilarious that ad is :D

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I learned when my mom took me to some icy roads, told me to speed up, slam on the brakes and “don’t hit anything”. I learned real quick lol

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

For all who don’t know this is a legit ad.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Where from, never seen it before. Last PSA I remember was Jimmy Saville telling us to clunk click every trip.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

British PSAs are fucking brutal. I got scarred gor life watching farm safety PSAs when i was 7. Effective, though.

7 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Mate, the majority of the UK ones don't have shit on the Northern Irish DOE ones. Just youtube "DOE Advert" and you'll feel uncomfortable

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are many. Remember the child stuck in a fridge, or the Grim Reaper hanging around the water?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I showed the fridge one to my Brother in laws kid. Im going to teach them how to ride a bike next.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude, wtf...

7 years ago | Likes 462 Dislikes 2

Thats a legit tv ad for a while

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah we got shown this video in school along with equally disturbing crash footage when we got old enough to get licenses (UK)

7 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

Did anyone else see the farming ones? They were some saw shit.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's still a thing. I get made to show it to my classes when they get old enough. I find it fckin pointless

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And they don't warn you. There was a girl in my class that lost her aunt and uncle in a crash. Now she has visuals to remember that with.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

in Drivers Ed in the US when I took it, they showed us a video of officers picking up a dude’s brains off the street, then showed the dude.

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Was that the California Highway Patrol video? The one that compared traffic fatalities to a domestic war? That messed me up

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Florida

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't get shown that, but I'll always remember being shown this is school: https://youtu.be/PoL3MjllVSs

I couldn't sleep for a fortnight after watching that. Still pissed off they made us watch it.

7 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

He did it afterwards, always was a class clown that one.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
