It's not top of the line but I love it. (Mine has a mix of Sora, Tiagra, Ultegra and RX100 components).
Cannondale is about to retire it from production but I'm still very happy with it.

At least you remembered to take off the reflectors.

Here in Spain they don't even come with them! But I removed the cassette plastic disc guard. 30g of uselessness!

30g?! That's the weight difference between sora and ultegra parts lol

How fast?

Downhill I get to about 65km/h (40mph) but after a couple of bad crashes I keep it safe these days.

Sometimes, my car shakes at 65 km/h

Mix of sora and ultegra? That's quite a range of quality.

Mostly Ultegra stickers.

Ha! Ha! I guess, but you know road cyclists: every gram counts!

I know, cassette and chain are Ultegra. For the small price difference, I got those when I had to change.

You'd notice a bigger performance change upgrading shifters and rear der to 105. Lots of bang for the buck.

It's on my list, complete 105 groupset when I ride often enough to deserve it! In silver.

They're killing the whole CAAD line, or just the 8? Also, a lot of their lower tier sets have way nicer paint jobs.

They have a caad12 now I think. I agree with you for paint job: top line are all minimalistic black or team lime green...

Was going to get the 2016 CAADX Tiagra for the paint alone, but was kinda bummed since they're out of my size, so I got the SuperX instead.

That's a cross bike with disc brake no? Sweet. Enjoy!

Yep, I ride in the rain and mud a lot so I've been a fan of hydros ever since they first came out. Calipers are just fine otherwise.

Yeah, here it hardly ever rains. Still, would be great for steep descents!
