This is a color technique applied to a basic black tee to give it a burgundy and black mottled effect. I didn't want to go overboard with the weaving so I did a simple pattern at the front and wings at the shoulder blades. As usual I use a cotton jersey blend because I like everything to feel like pajamas.

Do you have any issues with the cotton falling apart after the bleach? When I used to do this in HS that would happen.

I use a think cotton as a base with minimal synthetics and the bleach is diluted to avoid that. I haven't had any deterioration yet :)

I did the same, and tied it up like tie dye, it ends up looking like a tree trunk if you get t right.

nice. I would do something similar (grad in 1995) but not the weaving. My shirts would end up rotting after a few washes.Bleach was 100% tho

Most of my clothing is scratch made. I took part older garments and use them as a template. I also DIY vintage pieces for one of a kinds.
