This is how the worlds gonna end, it waiting outside for you while you baracade the door so it doesn’t put its beers on your back and keep you as a slave forever

What is my purpose?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's what I imagine a mimic would look like.

Boxxy T Morningwood

What really bemuses me is this person is tidy enough that they can assume there will be a place to walk on the floor without clothes or random crap that got pushed off the couch or bed

Now give it sentience but never question the morality of making it subservient.

Knocking on wood (gently) that it won't mulch my penis in my sleep.

The carcinization of furniture is upon us.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sapient Pearwood was a tree and also what The Luggage, along with the other Luggages in Interesting Times, were made out of. It is almost extinct, and its rarity and magical properties make it extremely valuable. The surviving trees are mostly located in some areas outside of the Agatean Empire on the Counterweight Continent. It survives most commonly in places where there is a large amount of raw untapped magic.

This will be great for those times I prepare myself a snack and place it on the table across the room for my inconvenience.

There was an episode of Love, Death, And Robots that was like this.... The little cleaning robot went nuts and tried to kill a lady and her dog but stopped to clean shit and fold laundry

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That feels like it's based a bit on B166-ER from the Animatrix.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Maybe. I don't know all the references for everything so it's entirely possible. I haven't seen Animatrix

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No. No it is not. I am creeped out by anything that moves with that style of locomotion.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ah good, so I'm not the only one who was massively uncomfortable watching that lol

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep. Spider-table can fuck right off.

Looks like The Luggage had fun again.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

“Is it dangerous?" The Luggage shuffled around to stare at her again. "There's two schools of thought about that," said Rincewind. "There's some people who say it's dangerous, and others who say it's very dangerous. What do you think?" The Luggage raised its lid a fraction.

Or teeth.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

saving that for some luggage. Maybe a trunk?

2 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

Sounds very spacious.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Hasn't attacked anyone yet

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yet. Important word.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it were the Luggage it'd either be sleeping or be beyond the event horizon of anger, it only has 2 states

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is just what happens anytime you make an object vaguely crab-like, terrifying isn't it?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yep.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I actually love it. The clickity clack of it walking, the movement of the legs. I would totally have one

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ditto….of course, I’d be down for The Luggage as well. I’d just have to ask it to not eat my dogs, please and thank you.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Omg, I’d do terrible things for The Luggage 🧳

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’d like to think I’d only use it for the Nobelist of reasons…but probably not 😅
