Donut cake
Amateur baker here. I made this donut shaped cake at the weekend and it turned out so perfectly I went hnnnnnnnnng and had to share.

The next logical step was to make it into a Homer Simpson donut.

It occurred to me that you guys might have some better ideas for what to do with a donut shaped cake. If you have any suggestions let me know and I'll have a go!

Thanks :-) The top half is courtesy of the tin (make sure you butter the tin well so it comes off with no problems) (1/2)

Only half fill the tin with mixture so when the cake rises it also forms a curved shape (this becomes the bottom of the donut) (1/1)
