Impressive piece of technology

Whats the answer to 99 out of 100 questions..................$$$

It's Apple, they only care about money

Well duh. It's made out of Nintendium. The only alloy as strong is Volvonium, hammered together by Thor himself.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nintendium, like Gundanium and Vibranium, is a near indestructible substance that only a single group knows the secrets of forging.

Back when peoples' demand for technology did not yet outstrip its reliability.

Always know where your towel is.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's because it's an iphone.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

i don't know why anyone who buys apple products are ever surprised at all the ways manage to get more money from you.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And all the soldiers in the Barrack a died.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bruh. Thought that was a Pip Boy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was designed for you to break it, if you refuse they'll patch it broken for you

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that's because nintendo designs their stuff to take abuse, and apple designs their stuff to be replaced

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Well, that game boy basically has a fucking piece of string running it inside.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is impressive

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I dropped a Game Boy once and got a line of dead pixels down the screen. It wasn't even a long drop.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pic shows mostly cosmetic damage. Phones are almost entirely functional, meaning any damage is more than cosmetic.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People used gameboys to play Tetris?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It came with most Gameboys so yes.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Nintendo should stop making consoles and make phones and games.....Imagine breath of the wild on PC, would be glorious.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Having repaired many... MANY gameboys in my life, I'm going to have to call BS, ribbon connector and lcd wouldn't have survived.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

in fairness, the ribbon connector is a wee bit fucked. I wonder if the melty edge plastic is maybe holding it tight enough to connect.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

screen worked better before *general use* broke it more, high temp to melt plastic would have destroyed lcd

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

back then: ITS MADE TO LAST FOREVER, now its: BUY A NEW ONE, YOU STUPID CONSUMING ZOMBIE!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Made in Japan > made in china

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thinner materials for a thinner phone

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Reckon the guy playing it “still works”?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Would have been hilarious if the Gameboy was playing Army Men

8 years ago | Likes 217 Dislikes 8

No no, Contra.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That wasn't on Gameboy.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

On the GBC

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had a SEAL game on the gb iirc

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I lost my gameboy one winter. I found it in 1.5 months later on the back deck when the snow melted. It still worked somehow.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I once spilled egg nog inside the battery compartment of my GBA. It never stopped working.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’ve dropped my phone at least four times directly on its face and all I’ve gotten is a few scratches

8 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 4

I've dropped my iPod at least 10 times, sometimes directly on the screen, not even a scratch. I've got a good case, though.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah I did the same with my baby, no harm done.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ive dropped it about a hundred times, i think people just get phone cases for looks not protection, and i do t mean one of those silly 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Huge waterproof goofy ass lookin ones, otterbox i think its called. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My friends are always incredibly shocked at how uncaring I am for my phone but they don't realise this phone case is as hard as a brick

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is it a Nokia?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s an iPhone 7

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Silly, they don't scratch

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Aye, I dropped my 3310 once and had to claim insurance on the house after I pulled myself out of the rubble.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I've whipped my across several rooms when going to move my charger and forgetting that it's connected; Zero damage... thus far.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

When i used to have a samsung galaxy s2 my mum ended up running it over in her car face down on gravel, i tossed it around and varely scratc

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Barely scratched the screen*

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've had cheap as shit phones survive getting smashed with a hammer, but the second you think about touching a expensive phone they shatter

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Nintendo should make phones...

8 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 1

They did make one I can't remember the name

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Found it, Nintendo plus phone pretty cool

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Back then everybody made products to last. That was bad for business since nobody bought new items.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

GB is about as complex as nokia 3310.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They haven't made anything that durable since the gamecube though

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

eh, pretty much every nintendo console is pretty robust.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My Wii remote still works and I've shoved it up my arse countless times.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The DS is still pretty sturdy. Physically at least.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I dropped mine when I was running across a parking lot and still worked

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be honest, I am pretty rough with my 3DS and it works pretty well. Now, for sure, it's no Gameboy, but increasingly sensitive-

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

-and complicated internals are likely going to account for at least some of that.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I mean, the R button on my New 3DS sometimes doesn't work, but it's still fine.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you used the “create a seal with your mouth and gently blow into it” trick? It sounds stupid, but I used it on my DS for years.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

On the R button, I mean.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I actually had that trouble with my first 3DS, but my 3DS XL has not had that same trouble.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know exactly why it started: the 11,000+ soft resets it took to get my shiny Poipole.
