I don't know if he seems like the best guy in his personal life - a bit troubled and bordering on "problematic" - but he's a really talented artist. One of those people who's very successful but still slept on critically, or underappreciated by a segment of the population that probably would enjoy him more than they think. Honestly, I feel like he's the closest thing to Prince from his era. Perhaps unsurprisingly, both Prince and Abel are obsessuve fans of the Cocteau Twins.

It sucks when an excellent animated show gets canned abruptly. Because of the long lead-times in production, it's impossible to do a proper finale unless they know wayyyyy ahead of time. It's why I'm fearful that Star Trek Lower Decks may not end on a satisfying/conclusive note.
