24 this is a great comic about a reaper and his daughter, this series was a flashback to how he got there. Overall the comic is great.

I wish the reaper will come to me in this way. I am ready, Mr. Reaper!

To everyone asking if the girl died, she didn't. Look at the drawing she made. She could see him all along.

It reminds me of "La petite mort", draw by Davy Mourier a french artist. It follows the life of a reaper family. They made a cartoon of it

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mortimer, what a convenient name for a reaper.

I was waiting for the dad to watch her daughter become a teenager and fuck every other dude

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fast forward 80 years and he's having to reap her soul.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd read the shit out of this.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow, did not expect that one to make me cry.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a morbid subject, but the drawings are adorable.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

By the look of the picture the little girl drew I get the feeling he interacts with her more than he should

I’m too much of an adult with kids to enjoy

Th e punch line flat lined..was good till then.

She's not dead

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

School shooting?

Jesus

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How did she know that was her dad?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

She can see him is my guess. Look at the drawing. Looks like the dad.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

she ded

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

No.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do I upvote this or just sob in silence?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She's not dead. In case that's why you're crying.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Plot twist. Wife cheated, kid isn't his so not family. Hence interaction.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

So suicide or natural causes on the guy? Cause the way he doesn't want to leave his family pushes toward the later, but evidence says former

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

what...evidence?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was my original assumption due to him being along in a room with the door closed, away from wife and daughter

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Does the last one mean she died from the spider?

6 years ago | Likes 1407 Dislikes 11

No that’s the mom now

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 17

Looks she kind of drew a picture of him before hand, so maybe he broke the rules or something. I like to think that anyway

6 years ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 1

No, but preschool is war.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Look at what the kid was drawing... She see's him.

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

What no. I think the spider is meant to represent Halloween

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

yep...it's an Australian comic

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She's dead later but not from the spider

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Went looking for the original, the artist says she's not dead, she can just interact and they have before that moment (was a flashback)

6 years ago | Likes 480 Dislikes 5

Not sure if anyone noticed the drawing, but it's obviously her dad

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

then why there is that damn spider?

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yes.

6 years ago | Likes 445 Dislikes 13

No- she’s drawn him before. So he’s interacted with her before

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No, he broke the rules exactly to save his daughter from being bitten to death.

Hey looks it’s the plot to “ dead like me” and “ scythe”

I love Dead Like Me, though I always cry at the end of the first episode ;-;

and a lot like A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore.

I was looking for this comment!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

and Secondhand Souls, the sequel! both hilarious.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hate that stupid freakin show! It's everywhere in my reccomended and it looks dumb.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 10

Dead Like Me is awesome

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's awesome and hilarious, but unfortunately short lived

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ok fine, maybe. But it still annoys me. When you see an ad for something, doesn't it make you hate it more?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Not really, but I also have adhd so ads for stuff become reminders from the public. Like this one is a reminder for me to finish the series

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did the little girl have to die too! C'mon man. This was great

6 years ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 5

she didn't die

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can see from her drawing that she sees him. He saved her from the spider.

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

The spider is a Halloween / Day of the Dead seeing spirits thing I'd assume and not death. She shes him:

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This made my day

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

sorry to say this but everyone dies eventually.

6 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 3

A small price to pay for salvation

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyone dies one day. Everyone. Even wolves. But not books. Not words. Words don’t die.

Death at old age is a gift, death of a child is a tragedy.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

yet the older one gets the more one realizes that the logos is not wrong, acceptance is key.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which goes to show the tragedy of the lost child as she/he has not gained wisdom through beautiful experience.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

u didn't get my point, there is no such thing as wrong, everything is meant to happen the way it does. good&bad coexist in a form of symbiosis

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rich or poor we end up the same. It's not about the journey but the destination. The path less traveled. Great sayings.
