If you're having trouble, open the photo, place your nose on the screen and pull away slowly.

That last one. You jerk :D

A schooner is a sailboat, dumbass

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! NEVER been able to see these but with your advice and this selection I could :-)))

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had one of these books as a child and I practiced so much that I can do it almost instantly. Yay for weird obsessions.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes I remember them, they were all on FP about a week ago.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I was happy I could still immediately make these work, but now I have a bit of a headache.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

+1 for Dickbutt, I genuinely laughed out loud!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a schooner!

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ha ha ha ha. You dumb bastard. It's not a schooner... it's a Sailboat.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A schooner is a sailboat, stupid head

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OMG...1st time in my life I managed to do it. Just blew my mind ?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You have no idea how much I needed that. Calmed my mind and gave me a little chuckle. Thank you.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

My power came from these. As I trained my eyes to spot it faster and faster, I didn't realize it made me super fast to spot the differences.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 1

Thank you! Had no idea what the “dickbutt” image was. And there was no way I was googling that!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I remember how much they made my fukkin eyes hurt.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

this. even scrolling past them fast I'll probably have a migraine shortly

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The one with the woman doing a hand stand is awesome

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Agreed! And the necklace detail.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I always find its easier to cross your eyes then slowly uncross them to see the image

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Have you noticed that there’s a difference though? The crossing-your-eyes method results in an engraving, where the image is below the 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

background. The focusing-far-away method results in a bas relief, which I think is the way you’re “supposed” to see the image. 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Huh...never noticed. Thats weird

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dickbutts

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can see these, generally, without even trying, but isn't resolving properly. Any idea what it is?

Not sure how to post a picture in the comments, hopefully this link works. Upside-down person with a ball, I believe she is an athlete. 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ohhhhhh...sailboat.....cool.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I do remember these... the last one's new, though.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's like riding a bike... Once you learn how to see them, you can do it years and years later still. I love 'em

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Yes, exactly! Good point.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, a couple days ago when it was posted

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

O.M.G. I've never been able to see these but the nose on screen trick worked for me! Now what's the trick to get noseprints off my laptop?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Try using chlorine

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What’s the last one? Dickbutts?

5 years ago | Likes 373 Dislikes 1

I thought it was musical notes. lol

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha I got so happy when I got that one!!!

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Was not disappointed.

Hahaha!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yep!

5 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 2

That was the only one that worked for me and the first one that ever worked for me

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You bastard

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

The dickbutt sealed the deal

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Halfway through, I thought "One of these is going to be Dickbutt".. Good job!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where'd you get a Dickbutt Magic eye??

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Front page a few days ago.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're called steriograms. There are a few online generators

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Anytime I try it they dont pop out at me...rather they always seem indented

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I used to be able to see it both ways when i was a kid, but i cant remember how i did it. Now i can only see the item pop out

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You may be doing it backward. You're supposed to let your eyes point outward (or straight) rather than cross inward.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same for me. I never managed to get them the right way round.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's how they work. It's like the 3D image is carved out of a block and you're looking in.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's actually not. You're intended to let your eyes unfocus, then the image pops out. If you do the cross eye method, it sinks in like that.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've always found the cross eyed version is sooo much clearer

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm the same - it's because I cant let my eyes go unfocused like you're supposed to, but cross my eyes just enough for it to work in reverse

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 180 Dislikes 0

WHEN DO I GET TO SEE THE SAILBOAT?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm in this picture and I don't like it.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Eventually he saw the sailboat.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thank you, i immediately started looking for this in the comments.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s not a schooner it’s a sailboat

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

A schooner is a sailboat, dumbass.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

YOU KNOW WHAT? THERE IS NO EASTER BUNNY OVER THERE THAT'S JUST A GUY IN A SUIT!

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There it is

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And the funny thing is, it wasn't even a sailboat.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It was 3 geometric shapes. I paused the movie to check :)

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Glad I wasn’t the only one.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3D circle, square, and triangle!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have never been able to get one of these to work. I always wonder if anyone else can or if they just say they see it.

5 years ago | Likes 545 Dislikes 2

I’ve never seen one either. But I have double vision, so I’ve always assumed that was to blame.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The idea is that you focus on a focal point that would be further away than the image and in doing so, your eyes blend it. Loved these!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I showed one to my bf the other day, I could see it no problem but no matter how hard he tried he just couldn't see it

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never been able to see these either.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Can you force double vision? Like the trick where you put your fingertips together and make the floating finger hotdog?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Last one is dick butt. I can see them

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When they got published it was said that about 6% of us wouldn’t be able to see the 3D image

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've always been able to do this. Started when I was a kid with a chain link fence, and one of those store-wall pegboards. #2 is a giraffe.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same, i can do them instantly and friends never believed me. They just said i memorized the answers at the back of the books.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The dickbutt at the end makes me wish I couldn't see them all. :(

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same here. Always annoyed when people would try and explain it. Doesn't work for me. Just leave it

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm nearsighted with slight astigmatism. I can't do it wearing glasses or contacts.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got these working for the first time very briefly! Then my eyes focused and I cannot seem to recreate it now. Sad times! It was magical

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I used to love these as a kid and was able to see most of them. As an adult I can’t seem to

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, we can see them.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1. Place fne close to face, focus and look at a election in your phone screen. 2. Whlst blinking, move fone away from , look at reflection.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cross your eyes so that the repeating pattern overlaps. Your eyes should adjust and focus. Then you’ll see the image.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretend you’re looking out a window and then focus on the glass.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a horizontally repeating pattern. Cross your eyes enough to line the pattern up with itself, but one section over. Aim on a target.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Never worked for me either

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just recently learned to view these things properly. Up until then I crossed my eyes. Only problem is that the pic is inverted that way...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ive never had a single one work for me.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do it by crossing my eyes, the slowly uncrossing them. Once they’re almost uncrossed, while my vision is unfocused and still doubled...1/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The outline of the hidden image starts to appear, still doubled. Then I focus on the “raised” 3D edges of it and it becomes 1 image. 2/3

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thing you’re looking for is like 2 pieces of paper, held 1 in front of the other. The 1 closest to you is a stencil, the back 1 is whole.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the same thing with the 3DS' 3D and to an extent, 3D movies, some people are unfortunate and hate/can't enjoy them. Glad that I can.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#6 is considerably more difficult.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never been able to do it with the nose on screen trick. I just stared, trying to criss-cross my eyes until it pops into frame

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, mine always looks like the image is inside. Pushed deeper into the image instead of popping out

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Relax your pupils

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're not alone. Spent many hours trying to see them when they first hit popularity.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When I was young, the "adults" got a big one of these and said i wasn't going to do this so it became my mission to get good at these

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now I have a useless talent

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's ok, not everyone has an internal monologue

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I am just flexing some eye muscle and the patterns overlap and i see the 3d image. Love these still.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You might just lack stereovision on some level. It's pretty common. My bf is the same. He had crossed eyes when a kid and it left him a lazy

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

eye. It's very probable that it's the reason why he can't see these images.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My husband has said the same thing, haha. Neither He nor our kid can see them. They pop right out at me though.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can see them and I can see them as 3D in front of plane as well as a 3D mold inside a plane.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With practice you can separate the image created by both of your eyes into two separate images, and then overlap similar shapes in 1/x

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

what's in front of you and have them match up, which for magic pictures creates an image. Repeating patterns are a good practice source 2/x

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

but if you CAREFULLY press on one eyelid you can create the separate image effect manually. Just match up the similar pattern and boom! 3/3

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can, but only backwards. Every time, the shape is a hole instead of popping outward.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stare at a wall across the room, then move your phone in front of your face and slowly focus on the picture. Part way there it will snap.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You have to focus behind the image. Don't focus on the screen, focus your eyes as though you're looking at something further away.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can see them at will. Just vaguely defocus my eyes.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Same, I can just cross my eyes at-will

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never tried to do these on a screen before. Sure as hell can't do it on my phone but they're easy in person

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It feels uncomfortable to do it at first but it's a blend between adjusting the focus point of your eyes & straight up crossing them

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s harder without my glasses, but the trick is to let your eyes focus beyond the image. It feels like you’re going crosseyed.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty much what the instructions say. Put nose on screen (and lose your focus) and as you pull away try to stop your eyes from focussing.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then hold it a few inches away from your face and you should start to see the image! Once you see it you can find it easier next time.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Once you get the hang of it they become a bit addictive. (Just spent 10 mins looking at all of these) curse you op for that last 1!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Start out with your nose close to it and slowly pull the picture away. Your eyes will kind of start to cross. Stay with it, try again if

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

your vision goes back to normal. Try to let your eyes just relax.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

First time it worked for me doing it this way. Yea. They're beautiful and cool.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My mom was really good at them, but I've never been able to see one either.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OH MY GOD ME TOO, THEBFIRST TWO ARE THE FIRST IVE EVER BEEN ABLE TO SEE THE IMAGE!!! I thought my dad was making it up this whole time!!

5 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

ME TOO!! FINALLY AFTER 30 YEARS!!

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Butterfly, giraffe, I <3 you, butterfly, flower, penis or upside down supermodel?, concentric circles, dickbutt.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My tip is cross your eyes slightly and let the pieces 'lock'. Find one part and cross your eyes so it overlaps it's matching neighbor

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you colorblind by chance?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Practice this, and start with the blue ones, easiest to see. https://coolopticalillusions.com/crazy/images/floating_sausage_finger.gif

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I can see the magic eye pictures instantly- but I don‘t know what I am supposed to see in that picture

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you point your two fingers at each other and cross your eyes a little, you make a little floating finger float between them.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They have to be practically touching though, and the size will vary depending on how you are crossing your eyes. Helped me learn magic eye.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just squint and when my eyes go back to normal I see the forms. Understanding what they are though...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your prob not going cross-eyed enough. Every time I do one I do a ramp up where I can't get it, then cross my eyes enough to make my...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...brain hurt a little and it pops into focus.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was actually going TOO cross eyed.. I saw 3 different 3D images in the first one

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're* ugh

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Theres techniques which mostly boil down to un-focusing your eyes. The difference between focusing on something close up, and 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

focusing on something further away. Tricky because people do this subconsciously. 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly, until today I thought the exact same thing but today I managed it. 25 years I couldn't. It is possible and very cool!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

harder on mobile but on pc, cross your eyes, move back and force, you're not looking at the image, you un-focus and mix 2 images.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jesus this comment got a lot of replies.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't look like anything to me.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im with you. I can’t see shit

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

let your eyes get tired and sort of go blurry, then your brain takes over.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can see them without even trying. I trained myself when I was like 7 with magic eye books.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Hey everyone, while you were out living, this guy learned to see.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I was 7... not much going on back then for me I guess.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

So neat! Having problems seeing the SECRET image? Type your SSN in the comment section and the image appears!! Add your CC# for Easter egg

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I also can't see the image, but if you try to look at something beyond the image and try to bring your attention (but not focus) to...

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

...to the image, you should be able to see it. I have never made it work unfortunately.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I actually do the reverse and it works. Cross your eyes like you are looking at the tip of your own nose, then you should see two pictures.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Then I let the two picture merge back together slowly, and the hidden image pops out when they almost aligned again.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only thing... it inverts the hidden image, so you aren't seeing it as intended, but I can't get it to work the other way.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I do it the same way, but never had an issue of images being inverted. Might be that my eyes overcorret from being crossed. *shrug*

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Once you get it, you actually can focus on it. You can even look around the image and move your phone

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Practice focusing at different distances with one eye closed. You'll get over the involuntary change in focal length eye crossing causes.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That made them suddenly work for me. You're literally crossing your eyes so the pattern overlaps itself, then refocusing your eyes til sharp

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

AS someone, who wears prescription glasses, I have problems too. No matter how I try, the images won't pop

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I tried it with and without my glasses, it was almost impossible with glasses on. Try taking them off and see if it works

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nah, didnt work much. I have astigmatism combined with shortsightness. Maybe I should print those, cuz display does not work for me...

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, well it was worth a try! Maybe printing will work!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wish I’d been told, “do that thing where you’re so lost in thought that you unfocus your eyes and you start seeing double.”

5 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 1

Yup, this is what I've told people too.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes!

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Holy fuck! I can almost see writing I think? (I hope) This is the best direction I've ever been given thanks!

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yup! You're doing it! The trick is to get one pattern to overlap the one next to it til your eyes "lock" them into place.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Put the image right up to your eyes, start spacing out and try not to even think about the picture, move image away slowly. Don’t move your

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eyes, just stare at the middle. Keep trying that. The image will suddenly just pop into focus. Don’t focus on the pattern

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dick butt is the last image

5 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Ah thanks.. Assumed it was a dick and weird.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

See this is the helpful answer. People suggesting how to do it doesn’t help if we don’t know if we’ve succeeded. I tried a method, saw d

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dickbutt, and was like “ah so that’s how it works, now I can go back and see what the others were”

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I remember these all over the malls back in the 90’s and today was the first time I ever got one of these to work.

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Same here

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me too!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My optometrist told me that I can’t see them because my eyes are perfectly aligned. I’m just a tad cross-eyed.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wonder if that's why these have never worked for me. I was born cross eyed and had to have three operations as a kid to have it fixed

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was crosseyed as a kid and always thought that helped me see these instantly without using any of the stuff others need to do.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Welp. That theory's gone then I guess. I can't do the focus thing bc my eyes automatically swap dominance, do you have that too?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nope, I don't even need to unfocus, I can just cross them at-will

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*cant’t

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*aren't

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks! I really should’ve been asleep when I wrote that mess.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cross your eyes and then try to focus on the image. I found it difficult on mobile, but actual size usually works

5 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 3

Or cross your eyes, put phone close to your nose, the slowly mo e it away until you see the image

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even better, find two repeating parts on the same row and cross your eyes until they overlap. You can do most of these in seconds this way.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a slight astigmatism, so that might be the issue

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Astigmatism shouldn't be an issue, though if you have an issue such as lazy eye, that could impair viewing these =\

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I do too. And I have never had a problem seeing these. Weird.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sometimes it helps with mobile to start with your nose touching the screen, once the eyes relax move out slowly, they should adjust.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I do too and have never been able to see them.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What's supposed to happen? Because nothing happens.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You see a blurry version of the image

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're doing it wrong. You're meant to look past the image, and you'll get a really cool, clear 3D image.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope crossing your eyes gives a reverse 3D image. I relax my eyes and try to look past the picture and boom it works.

5 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

I've been crossing my eyes for years to look at these and I get the 3d image effect maybe each person needs to find there own method?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh my fucking god this is do much easier than nose to the screen

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I've only ever been able to see them crosseyed until now. Lots of refocusing, but I can see both ways now! Fuck the sunflower tho, took ages

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The third from bottom. An upside down person?? Took me the longest

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bunny?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Somebody doing a handstand, and a ball to the left

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good, thought something was wrong with me forever. I still dont understand the "look past the object" garbage instructions, so frustrating

5 years ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 2

Normally eyes focus on a position in space like the screen but for these you have to focus further away. Wiggle the screen slowly helps.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they mean it to be similar to a dirty window. you 'look through' the dirt to see whats beyond it. (or just cross your eyes).

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It should be easy to understand, even if you haven't done it yet. You do understand that you eyes and brain can focus on things, right?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hold the phone in front of something a foot away, then focus on that thing and shift your eyes to your phone and slowly let them focus back

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You focus your eyes like you would when looking at something in the distance, instead of the picture.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your eyes are REALLY good at automatically focusing on whatever you're looking at, so it takes some effort to "manually override" them.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

or use that trick where you touch 2 finger tips together, then defocus them so it makes it look like you are holding a mini hotdog between

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

them. practice defocusing and focusing to make the "hotdog" bigger and smaller.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if you can force your eyes to unfocus it's easier. Unfocus so it's blurry/double image then slowly refocus it until you find the sweet spot.

you can practice by staring at your finger. defocus until you see double. slowly focus the double image to go farther and closer together.

also learn to be able to stare directly at your defocused fingers so its not blurry while maintaining the double images.
