7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I'm very suspicious he never unfolded it fully

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sick Gameboy SP bro!

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And somehow even more awkward than the current big ass phones

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Neat. I want one.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah it looks nice until it overheats due to apps running in it 24/7

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Am I the only one who got ridiculous amounts of anxiety watching that thing slowly fold?

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

the rep doing it clearly was too... "see? if i fold it juuuust right... it doesnt break!"

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Why not

well now we can angrily hang up on people again

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

judging by how delicately the rep was opening and closing it, you can probably get away with an angry hang up slam like, once

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why?

7 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 5

Why not?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For the glory of Satan of course. But seriously, more screen size in a compact format.

Saw one of these at a tech expo a few years ago. Until it's released, I'm not gonna call it the first foldable smartphone. It's a demo.

Screen will wear out prematurely around the bend however.

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Just around the river bend... --Pocahontas probably

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Now we can finally get that sensation back when we hang up on people

7 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 0

The angry snap-shut was the best part of annoying phone calls

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Come talk to me when I can slam it down on a cradle so hard the ringer bell lets out a cry of pain.

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

But does it open all the way we haven't seen it do that yet

7 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

same question.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The new age flip phone

flip phone durability with the porn watching capability of a standard smartphone. future so bright you gotta wear shades.

7 years ago | Likes 136 Dislikes 3

Is that a reference to "An Extremely Goofy Movie" or is that just something that people say?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

being able to angrily slam it closed to end a call is going to be amazing. Hope those screens aren't too fragile

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shade = "Sexual Health Awareness and Disease Education"... a program at some universities

7 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

why am I posting this? pls ignore

7 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Make me.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

oh god... this is what the shade program is for... must resist

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

lol

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Wow. I guess technology IS cyclical

7 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Folding was always a desirable feature on a phone, it just wasn't compatible with several other even more desirable features until now.

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Next step would be rolling it up like a toilet paper roll; you avoid wrinkles that way

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So, like a flip phone? Flip phones are finally making a comeback!

7 years ago | Likes 681 Dislikes 2

Just afraid the screen would crack

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All things go in cycles.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

What's funny is my first smartphone was a flip phone motorola. Cover was clear and you could use the touchscreen through it.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Finally, my RAZR is cool again!

7 years ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 1

Google the Razr V4. Apparently coming in 2019

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had the smaller one, the KRAZR or whatever. Had a magic battery. "Battery low!" turn it off and back on, battery was back over 50%. Could

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

go about 2 weeks doing that before the battery finally died.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I had a Nokia 4410, put it in a drawer on less than half battery. Forgot about it. Found it a year later. Still charge.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you are still rocking a RAZR... Cool.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I regret giving mine to my uncle's 3rd wife now could've used it as a burner phone!

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some asshat stole mine. I hope they get a paper cut in all of their finger crotches.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

+1 for finger crotches

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was always fucking cool.

7 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

Especially that pink one, yo

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I washed a pink Razr, many years ago. STILL WORKED

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As 15 year old boy I got a second hand pink razr, I was THE shit at school.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Technically all phones are foldable.

7 years ago | Likes 1127 Dislikes 15

ok "unfoldable" but then technically... this phone didnt actually unfold in the video (just got frustratingly close, and then set it down)

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Well, you are not wrong.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You are technically correct, the best kind of correct

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

iphone did it first

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

once...

7 years ago | Likes 277 Dislikes 2

Yup

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Just depends on whether or not you want it to continue working

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It is foldable even if you want it to continue working.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

False, explain Nokias

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

From the standpoint of a geometry/biologist/etc aren't we all just donuts? I mean toroids

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Show me a folded Nokia 3310 and I will support your statement

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Not if it's a Nokia!

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I guess

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And if you brave enough...you know

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rule 11. Everything is air-droppable at least once.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Heard with the new iPhone update you can do this; it takes a little force the first time tough

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Nah, just put it in your back pocket.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't say that stupid people will believe you

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They deserve it. Only reason why they wouldn't, is that they shouldn't give Apple any more money.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Foldable implies repetition. Bendable is something that won't return back to shape.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

pretty sure the word youre looking for is "breakable" i can get a bendable straw that gets straight as an arrow over and over

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But yeah your phone is probably just breakable

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah, I can bend an aluminum extrusion but I cant bend it back into shape, it'll always be slightly deformed.

Asking the important questions

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I was worried they would skip that part as well.

7 years ago | Likes 246 Dislikes 3

Comment gold, thanks for making me laugh.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

An experienced reviewer wouldn't skip something that important

7 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

I feel like I'm missing something here.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I believe he was just making fun of the unnecessary action of the guy slapping the phone on his hand, nothing more

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I didn't get it at first. They're being sarcastic, talking about the moment when he hits it against his hand after closing it.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

A seemingly pointless gesture.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know, but I was wondering if it was a reference to something.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So, it's a Gameboy Advance SP. Or a DS.

7 years ago | Likes 191 Dislikes 10

Came to comment exactly this.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's like the DS and SP had a baby, I dig the look

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gameboy, it's not Double Screen.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

yeah but the screen IS on both sides, so DS

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Also, the bottom is touch screen (so's the top, I know) DS it is!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

SP was my favorite portable gaming device, perfect pocket size.

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

The size was convenient, the metallic colors looked awesome, and that backlight was a fucking GODSEND!

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Did you have the front-lit or back-lit? Made a big difference! I had the not as good one, I don't remember which.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Back-lit is best. I modded my standard Advance with an SP-101 screen. Works great.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I believe it was front lit that clicked on, it was the inferior one to the built-in back lit.
