I need a 20% on my exam tomorrow to pass the class.... Awwww yeah

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Me when I finally graduate in a couple of days

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I spent two hours yesterday working on a spreadsheet to calc all my averages to work out... I'm fucked.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This was me this semester, as I'm pretty sure I came THIS close to failing one class, while passing all others with flying colors.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

this is so my life :(

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I need a 7% on one of my finals to get a b, don't ask me how but the teacher informed me I could skip final and still pass.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I need a 6% on my mechanics of materials test to pass the class

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if i get 100 on the final i get 84 in the class, hope the extra credit tomorrow goes well

When you realize you have to get a third job because your retired husband's car just died.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just found out I failed my history class. I mean I JUST found out from this post..

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Prof lets us think we're going to fail all semester only to change grades last second... Went from D- to B...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

why didnt u do work during the semester?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 23

How do you know he didn't?

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

if he did, he didnt do too well

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I remember when the avg grade of my stats class was so bad, the professor lowered the letter grade value. So 60s-C, 70s-B, 80s-A, 90s+- S

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Lol that's nothing. In one of my micro classes a 40% would guarantee a B

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a college teacher, so many students arequick to blame everything but themselves. There are plenty of solutions. Up to them to think of it

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a Geology professor in college that always put enough bonus points on the final that anyone could pass. Someone got a 1400% one year.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

i work with geologists, thats totally normal

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not even taking one of my finals because I managed to fuck the class up so bad...it wasn't for lack of trying either.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Had to get a 90 on my quantum mechanics final to keep a 3.0. Got 95 *pew pew* *eigemfunctions*

10 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 2

you only got a 95 because you observed it. Ruined the possibility on a perfect score.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Write down all the answers twice.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a few classes in the future that the grade distribution is nearly 80% C's for all the teachers who teach them. You're not alone OP

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yeah a C is not a decent grade haha actually considering I'm engineering getting anything below a B is not okay if I want a job after grad

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Agreed. I have to ace all my other classes to make up for what could potentially be C's in a few. Can't finish below a 3.0 or it's a waste

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This IS A GIF?!?!?

A bumper animation for adult swim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oBx7Jg4m-o

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Adult Swim (Cartoon Network) turned it into a commercial

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I prefer not to do these calculations. They just stress me out.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I read that in Brian Regan's voice

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nah, they used Dana Snyder (Master Shake) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oBx7Jg4m-o

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That has been me the past two days. The fire has been my heart, something is up with it.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Sure it's not just Indigestion

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

GERD maybe?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This may or may not be real life right now....

10 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 6

I guess I should justify decent to me is a B in a pretty competitive major ....

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

May God help your soul. ._.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So what does 100% get you? A D?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What major?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got appendicitis 10 days ago. Finals are next week. Anesthesia still making me unreasonably tired. I'm not sure how I'm going to be okay.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

God I bet that's awful I once took an exam with a fever. That was one of the worst testing situations I've ever been in

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I took a test with a runny nose and was sniffling the whole time . at one point I feel some trickling down my face and I see blood dripping

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

On my paper and had to leave .

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh man. I had a fever once. All I could do was shiver and demand more blankets. You must be good at life.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I pray to the study gods for the both of you!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a grad student I'm currently crapping my pants

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean I was on a ton of cold medicine I was pretty loopy and not there I didn't do well haha

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why is it that every time someone says something about having a bad grade everyone assumes they are lazy? I have a teacher who 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 201 Dislikes 10

You've never seen engineering. 47% was avg for first test. 59% was avg for second. We're all kicking our butts to study though.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Had a teacher in HS straight up tell me she tried to fail me, but she couldn't because of the law. She could only lower my grade down to a C

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had a prof that flat-out added between 5 and 10 points to every person's test grade so that the average was a passing grade for each exam.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you have to add an entire letter grade to make it look like your students are passing, something is wrong. It was an INTRO class, FYI.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of course, her system usually meant I ended up with scores like 108 since I usually scored 95+ on my own, so I suppose I can't gripe much.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One of my professors makes hard as fuck exams and offers no curve at all. Like wtf the average for our mid term was a 42!

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Sounds like many higher level physical science courses in college.

No it's a CS class....discrete structures

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a prof that flat-out added between 5 and 10 points to every person's test grade so that the average was a passing grade for each exam.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But it was an intro bio class and I think she had to have a certain # of students pass or something because she wasn't tenured yet.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a teacher who said, "3 people will get A's, I teach 4 classes" I did not get an A.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They've obviously never taken a Microbiology class. Started with over 100 and ended with maybe 15.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Basic micro, or advanced micro? That many bio majors shouldn't drop basic micro class. My 60+ class did really well overall. Great prof.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm assuming basic. I took it as a Nursing pre-req. I got a B but most dropped out. I also hooked up with my lab partner. :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

one of my professors is the most worthless professor I came across and my grades are bad because he can't teach for the life of him

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Sometimes they are hired for their research.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and I hate having to enroll in those classes where the professor is clearly incapable of teaching

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a teacher that hated me. Game me E in biology, switched teacher, got B+.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Same for my SAT and GCSE Welsh. (UK SATs) Kept giving me 4s in coursework, results day she called us up one by one, told the headmaster's

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

daughter & friends that they got 7+ (no such thing). Told me with disgust that I just scraped a 7. GCSE coursework I got Ds & Es. Final mark

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

was a B. Given the coursework counts towards your mark I must have really aced the externally marked exam. English I got A*s in coursework

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

then got a B overall, which shows you my usual performance difference between coursework and exams.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

An E?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For places that grade A-E instead of A-D and F (my school did it, made sense, wondered what an F was when I heard it from others)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OHH. Makes sense.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Told us at the beginning of the semester that half the class was going to fail the first test. We found out later it's because he 2/3

10 years ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 9

Was a mercenary who's employers send him to the schools of his targets where he teaches and then kills half of the class as a warning. 3/3

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I had a prof who's test just didn't make sense. When your students can't pass a test, you know there's something wrong...

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Grades like a dick. 3/3

10 years ago | Likes 175 Dislikes 6

Had a couple teachers like that. Ended up losing financial aid because I failed their classes

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most are not in stem fields.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I had a professor who told us she didn't care if we all fail. Class average at the end of the year was 27%. Fucked my GPA.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a prof who wasn't allowed to teach the class for ten years because the last time he did it, he whittled it down to two people.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Needless to say I failed. Retool it with a different professor and got an A.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

*re-took

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I HAD A TEACHER LIKE THIS TOO. She started the class out with, "more then half of you are going to fail this class." AND DO YOU KNOW WHY?

10 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 0

Because she had half of every class she taught lined up for help after school! I feel like if that's the case then maybe she should change

10 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Something.

10 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

If you are actually curious, that's called the "fundamental attribution error" it's actually pretty fascinating

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

You mean where everyone fails because he said that?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, when someone attributes a behavior (like doing poorly) to a persons character ( like being lazy) rather than consider the situation
