seems like attempted assault or some other type of charges would be in order here. This is not the type of thing that should go without legal consequence. Unfortunately this type of thing could have fatal actions in the US depending who is involved
And will proceed to do absolutely nothing. Because when some one is actually a menace to society the police are worthless. Its fun thinking the police investigate things with some level of efficacy though.
Given the option of killing someone or just, you know, driving away, you choose the violence. That speaks volumes. You're as insecure as the pasty, fat fucker in the video.
I was a volunteer firefighter for two years. We once had a chance to take an ax to the windows of a car. It took so many swings to get a crack using an ax. The lesson was 50% fun, 50% teaching us the value of using the right tool for a job. In this case a tool specifically designed to break car windows
If they’re tempered windows they shouldn’t ever crack that isn’t how tempered glass works at all, the second the glass is compromised it explodes into thousands of tiny pieces
I wouldn't try the windshield. Laminate glass will cut you to shreds before you could get through it. I would find something metal and smash the tempered glass
The reason for the recommendation is that you're not breaking the glass. You're breaking the glue that's holding the windshield to the car and pushing the whole thing away.
Man, I've been working with glass for about 15yrs now. And I'll tell you that windshield is not going to release from the urethane. Busting the tempered glass is the best bet.
I'm not sure that exists, actually (although it SHOULD be, and not just because I've done it before as well). I know there's one for getting more upvotes as a reply to the top comment than the top comment itself.
unfortunately, it takes much longer than that for the pain to set in. That right there is unbridled, unrestrained rage, with absolutely no adulthood to tie it down.
I had all the side and back windows in my wife’s car replaced with tempered glass, totally worth it at least twice now. I’m guessing that scrawny fucker broke some bones in his hand, you can hit tempered glass with a hammer and it barely cracks.
That's not how tempered glass works my dude. Side windows are designed with tempered glass very specifically so they shatter into tiny "beads" when cracked, for safety purposes. If your wife is trapped in her car and she can't open the doors, the side windows being made of standard tempered glass could save her life. If you replaced her windows with something that cannot break like standard safety glass, you could be putting her in danger.
This isn’t tempered. I’m forgetting the proper term, it’s security glass. Has a laminate coating or some shit. Not bullet proof but it will not shatter
So what do emts do to get through the window? Or someone escaping in a flooding car? I'm not trying to be disrespectful but it sounds like you made the car less safe for extremely unclear benefits.
Tempered glass will shatter all at once creating a mosaic of shattered glass that is hard to see through. For this reason the wind shield is made from a softer glass that can be cracked without completely shattering the entire surface.
Since you're up on postal laws, any good ones in there for consistently mis-delivering stuff? Or scanning as delivered when it hasn't been? Surely, there should be protections for the mail itself getting to where it's supposed to?
I had a quick root around and the maximum sentencing seems to be 6 months for hindering unless there is destruction of mail then its up to 5 years. Obviously there would be a lot of other laws broken here too and state laws might make a difference?
Pretty sure the destruction of government property and assault, potentially with terroristic threatening and impeding traffic depending on the situation, would be enough
SHOW ME ONE. SHOW ME ONE PERSON WHO GOT A MANDATORY MINIMUM SENTENCE OF 10 YEARS IN PRISON FOR TRYING TO DAMAGE POSTAL PROPERTY AND I'LL LITERALLY SHIT A GOAT. JUST ONE. Can you just for a second think about how many assaults there are on postal carriers every year? We would need double the prisons we have now to house every one of them for a mandatory minimum of 10 years. That number is so ridiculous he might as well just have made up words for different numbers.
The evidence I provided was not to the 10 year minimum, but against the statement "This comment literally has no basis in fact or reality or any fucking sense at all." Having a specific set of laws applying to assault of postal workers is a solid basis in reality, even if the years of sentencing is different.
The very article you got your data from said there's only been about 2000 such cases, and that was over a period of more than a year. If you were to assume that no other cases in the prison system were for assault on a postal worker, and every one of those cases led to the person serving a full 10 years, that's only about a 1% bump in incarcerations.

Why is everyone downvoting me? He's fucking lying. Are you that gullible? Just think about the logic of that statement. The logistics of putting > 2000 people in prison each year for 10 years. He's lying. You just want it to be true because it sounds like some kind of neat gotcha loophole. Think for yourself.
You're so good at the Google. You have to be able to come up with one example; right? c'mon. It's not tough. You just Googled and interpreted, incorrectly, some information you found. This must be a breeeeeeze.
