This was me in 2007 a few days before I deployed to Iraq. I want to thank all the men and women of our Armed Forces for serving and may God Bless their families!

Sadly this is me today. Bedridden with a terminal illness from exposure to toxic burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan. I pray that I continue to get to celebrate holidays and momentous occasions for as long as possible!

So sad men like this fighting for rich mens war's.

You are all awesome! Thank you so much for all the kind words!

Its ashame The military leaders don't learn their lessons from history. The burn pits After Desert Storm caused many problems for our vets.

God bless you, my brother. You have suffered more than you should have to do to the ignorance of our chain of command.

I read your interview and I truly admire you for not being bitter about your situation. I know I would not be near as stoic in your shoes.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I definitely still go through bouts of depression as anyone in my situation would but I strive to stay as positive as I can!

I'm terrified that I might have side effects from the burn puts on both AFG deployments.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It really does show up out of nowhere. If you think you have issues see a doctor immediately and tell them what it's from!

Just as a was about to make an Air Force joke... you gotta be dying on me. Best of luck from a fellow vet, Stay strong buddy.

9 years ago | Likes 145 Dislikes 4

I'm not convinced you are a vet. I've gone through all your posts and comments, and there's not even a single hint at it before now.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 36

Vets aren't Crossfitters or vegans

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How the fuck does that makes sense?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It is possible to be a veteran without mentioning every other post, I don't want praise or attention; I brought it up out of solidarity.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That aside you would have to have some hella time on your hand if you went through every comment I've made, there are thousands of them.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some of us don't want the attention.... Though I'll admit most of my comments hint at it since I usually comment to defend fellow minions.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Both of my Grandfathers were in Korea. They don't really go out of their way to let everyone know they served.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

make a post with a stop sign redirecting people here. This dude deserves all the good attention.

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Wow thank you for that! Much appreciated!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You deserve it Dude. sorry we couldn't make it more known.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yea it really is sad that NOBODY knows what the burn pits are and what they are doing to Veterans like me. It's quite sad..

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My lungs are messed up from those pits. 70% lung function. They still won't admit that they fucked me up. Pulling for you brother.

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

Thats our wonderful VA isn't it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope you get the help you deserve!!

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I wonder if the money was able to be raised for the golf simulator. I checked the donation link in the article, but the link is now broken.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Down in the comments he mentioned that he's had the sim for a while now.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As ex military, I'm confused. He voluntarily chose to join, knowing the consequences, and wants us to buy him a full I door golf course 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 9

The golf set up has been in my house for quite a few years. That story that was linked was from many years ago. It's an amazing set up!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Liar, I'm pretty sure RBG is not ex-military.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For his house? Also, if it can be proven to have been caused from the burn pits, the US gov owes him enough money to buy the golf course

It took until my dad was in his late 60s for the government to finally admit many of his severe health issues that started in his late 20s

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

were almost certainly linked to his agent orange exposure. This is a very similar situation.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep and the same thing is happening to this generation. It's a sad situation that is just recurring all over again...
