Ancient Bladesaw Replica - 3d Printed - Breath of the Wild

Hello there! My name is Brian aka Power Up Props and I made a 5 foot long replica of the Ancient Bladesaw from Breath of the Wild. It is over 170 3d printed pieces and has almost 2 meters of Adafruit Neopixel LEDs in it.

The finished Bladesaw complete with Gerudo Link cosplay. I won "Best Prop" at DaishoCon 2018 with it.

The LEDs were programmed to chase like the chainsaw blade in game.

In game reference

I modeled this beast in Autodesk Fusion 360. It has 150 individual STL files.

The LEDs were run through a channel in the "teeth." The teeth were 3d printed with natural PLA in halves.

Testing the LEDs. It was just shy of 2 meters of Neopixel LEDs run off of a Trinket Pro and powered by a lipo battery.
