I had a small sailboat run over the front of my kayak in a lake in Iowa once. Middle of the lake. My 1st time kayaking and they were novices. We laughed as I came up spluttering and they just kept on going. I couldn't get back in the kayak and ended up tying the rope on the front to my ankle and swimming a good 1/4+ mile to shore. Ah... to be THAT young again.
