4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That last one? Always the opposite for me; knowledge -> understanding, undersranding -> not bloody mysterious anymore ->not to be scared of.

In case anyone wants to know: Source for #19 is "Skeleton Knight in Another World"

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Netflix now has a “remove from continue watching” option you’ve just got to go into said show/movie to choose it

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#2 there is now! You can select to remove an item from your continue watching category ??

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Came to say this. Just noticed it last week. "Remove from Continue Watching" It's great when the kids put crap into my queue.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#16 well if you're bitten you're fine. Stick a bandage on if it bleeds. What if it stings you?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#9 Tumnus? That you?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#2 you can remove it from your history, actually.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#16 why a fucking mercury dime? Most people don't even know what that is.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#22 I had a patient the other day whose bruises from his injuries followed the tissue planes and spread to the midline and stopped there.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Looked pretty cool, especially as there was a little semi-circle of bruise-free skin around the navel because of how the tissue attaches.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#25 “ding et dong” the movie did this joke. Get in a taxi “10$ direction south”. They ended up in a tunel and the driver trowed them out

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#16 We have these where I live. I saw one on a nature walk and cried just due to close proximity :( so scary!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don’t think we have those in Australia. That’s nice.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#18 yes please. Someone should have fun for me. I'm dead inside.

My Mom put #11 as our answering machine message about 25 yrs ago. Some messages after were “Ya’ll GOTTA hear this! I’ll call the # again!”

4 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

I had this as outgoing message on my voicemail for a long time. I switched between that and George Costanza's "believe it or not"

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She got it from a fax received at the hospital she worked at. One nurse sent it to many other hospitals to share the chuckles.

#26 and the more you suffer, the more it shows you really care. Right?

4 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 0

YEAH HEAH HEAH! ?

4 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

Goddammit. I just posted this word for word, thinking I was being clever, and then saw your comment. I tip my bonnet to you, sir or madam.

#4 that's sleep in a room with a bunch of power indicator lights. Put tape over them. Also, may I recommend drugs? Sure helped me.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But... there is that option on Netflix...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

so I am 95% sure I got stung by the tarantula hawk wasp once. I thought I had been electrocuted once I could get back up and organize

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

my thoughts a little and I saw the bug. shit was insane. 0/10 do not recommend.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I would also agree that having a girlfriend is a sign of bad luck

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#2 pretty sure there is a mark as unwatched. I could be thinking of Plex though.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

If you remove it from your watch history, it also stops using it to generate recommendations.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

On the app, poke the 3 stacked dots on the offending show in the “Continue Watching” row. Then choose “remove from row”. All better

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(That’s on the Netflix app)

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There isn't but they did add the ability to remove from continue watching but that is very new.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No this does exist. I had to do it to reset a bunch of crap someone racked up on the "default" profile. Which was my profile.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No you can mark it as unwatched. It's a pain in the butt, you need to do it from a web browser

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There definitely used to be, but you have to be on a computer and go into your account. Really should be a one button solution

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This still exists

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yes, please, absolutely no fanservice. leave that for actual hentai dam. its so hard to recommend anime to people, or enjoy it when its ther

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don’t hate, sometimes it’s very enjoyable and some shows don’t need it. It’s fine for plot but not when it’s jammed down my throat

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

its tolerable as a dude. but its hard to recommend stuff to my female friends cus of it. it can be a source of uncomfort

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Anecdotally speaking, the few people I've known who go to sleep at regular times but still wake up tired had some degree of sleep apnea.

4 years ago | Likes 156 Dislikes 0

I had sleep apnea until I lost weight and stopped drinking

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m thin and never drink, still snore like a chainsaw, chained to my cpap, fkn ripped off

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For me it was a tumorous parathyroid. A little slice and snip, all better!

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It was a severe vitamin d deficiency for me

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Or they just don't get enough sleep. Most adults need between 7 and 9 hours. It's almost as common to need 9 as it is to need 7.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Or have young children

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

My sleepiness comes from fibromyalgia, though it has a bunch of other symptoms too

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Same @ fibromyalgia. Chronic fatigue is some bullshit

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I remember one of the selling points of the cpap is how much better sleep you will get and how refreshed you'll feel. Lies. Adult=fatigue

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I just don’t feel like I’ve been undergoing a session of brain damage when I use my cpap all night so I’ve got that going for me

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s like saying anecdotally divorce causes depression; fatigue actually has a myriad of possible causes lol

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They have it where they can do the sleep study with you at home and hooking it up to yourself. The breathing machine is quiter than the fan.

4 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

I sleep with the cpap. It is incredibly quiet. I sleep with two fans in the room and can confirm that you are correct, it is quieter.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have sleep catnea. My cats keep waking me up at night.

4 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Thank you for naming this condition.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Could also be depression or narcolepsy. I've got both of those.

4 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

I’m worried I have a mild narcolepsy.. there’s been a few times recently I almost passed out standing (/one time driving) for no reason

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it felt like I’d pulled several all-nighters and drank niquil

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds like it might be! You should talk to you doctor about it. Narcolepsy isn't just passing out, it's being tired all the time, too
