Yeah, but that shit happens at Taylor Swift concerts as well as other Left-minded events and rallies. Shit on them because they are horrible people with horrible ideas, not because of one event that cold have been anywhere.
I get it - "/s". But, don't most large public events look like this afterwards. I've cleaned plenty of trash for various jobs and work in general. It's not really a left/right thing. People as a whole are inconsiderate assholes about their trash. I don't know who I hate worse - smokers or the gum litterers. Every sooner seems to think the ground is their ashtray and the butts magically disappear - but at least you can just pick that up. ¹
But gum, especially in the heat. Every fixing piece is an ordeal. And they know that, that's why they're throwing it on the ground. I think the answer is "people". I hate people.
Used to. I remember the putrid smell. In Europe we got a handle on it for most events. Recycled cups and bottles. Near zero trash. Much nicer experience.
I was in Butler, PA Thu. night, visiting a long-time friend at his parent's house, which was literally < 1/4 mile from that site. I drove by all that feces (including gear sale stands). It was fucking disgusting, and I just wanted to burn it all to the fucking ground. I'm so fucking disgusted by what this traitor has done to the country whose Constitution I took an oath to support and defend, and did so for 26+ years. Fuck that fucking Russian stooley, racist rapist treasonous traitor.
Walt Disney before he opened his first park visited other parks and logged how far someone would walk with their trash before they would just drop it on the ground. If you visit Japan you’ll find a public trash can is a rare thing. But the streets are clean. What does this say about Americans?
If I recall correctly, the Japanese have no trash cans because some terrorist group once left a bomb in a trash can. So, I guess it means Americans are less likely to be terrorists?
When I was younger, I didn't live that far from an outdoor concert venue and knew people who would work there. That really is how every event ends, and it's truly a nightmare when the venue is booked for consecutive days.
Don't even need it to be a shitty festival. I've worked a big local one as security this summer and they have a crew cleaning the whole place every single night. It's a dump. My least favorite part was escorting barmaids carrying the money after they were done counting it and having to walk thru the area close to the stage... I've worked on farms and the smell was similar...
Having massive banner chanting 'Fight! Fight! Fight!' is insane and an obvious call for violence if he loses. We need so many new laws to safeguard the republic in the aftermath of the cancer of Trump and MAGA.
In principal I agree, but the problem there is that things like that invariably end up going from certifying things are true to deciding what their truth is. All it takes is for the right wing to creep back in again and subvert it and suddenly you're back where we are now but with a department enforcing their version of the "truth".
Devil's advocate here, but I feel like that's really bog standard political messaging, right? Now, it does come from a guy who has made a NUMBER of pretty overt references to political violence, so the context matters, but I feel like the wording of the banner alone isn't all that bad.
The wording itself isn't the issue the messaging behind it is. As you said, Trump has made numerous mentions of political violence in case he loses, and that is exactly what his supporters will take from reading that.
Multiple cities have sent his campaign to collections for not paying for the added expense of hosting a rally from his 2020 run. The only thing I know of that he has ever made sure he paid for was the hush money for Stormy Daniels and even with that he was too cheap to pay out of pocket and now has falsified business records and is now a 34 felony counts against him.
Hey we do, it's just... not the first priority! It comes after the image/video, first comment, replies to the first comment, second comment, upvote/downvote ratio, OP's profile, most downvoted comment, replies to most downvoted comment, another post...
Unless the title is a single period, we see it immediately and get mad at that for some reason.
Freeasabird2015
Bunch of dirty pigs, I can only imagine what the inside of their houses are like .
rovertbiggs
Amazing what a mess 50 people can make.
FingerLickr
Better to ask forgiveness afterwords then to be respectful.

So they never left?

Never mind the rubbish. What about the hoarding saying “Fight! Fight! Fight!”?
NVGoddesscottage
Trumps not paying
gumblemuntz
Probably some undocumented workers...
Varnna
The proof of his 'huge crowds'. Even the footprint they leave is TINY. And sloppy. Not unlike their dear leader.
mikeatike
These are the same people that go to Heinz Field and trash the parking lots every time there's a country show.
Outlavv
This has nothing to do with trump. This what every festival looks like after. This is just humans being their normal garbage selves
IAmEhEhRon
Cunts
sadman13
Look how much trash was left after the trash left
Zeterai
The party of personal responsibility, everyone.
GlenL
In all fairness, that's far less trash than when it was filled with Trump supporters
lackinglife
I have a wild guess who is gonna not pay for it
bobisslack
We are. It is a heavy toll the populace pays to continue to support that parasite.
Fishy820
That doesn't look bad for the millions of poeple that were there./s
SilverDust133
As a promoter… I don’t see a single trash can in sight. It helps.
Poipoine
Big Black one in the middle of the picture, attached to the big pole. Already full of course

Kind of does for the 50 that actually were, tho...

Oh yeah… people in general give no fucks at events.

Trash leaves trash
mikeatike
It is Butler. This could be after any event.
The red part of PA is rather shitty.
steelundecided
As a decades long mechanic having to work around filthy vehicles, it always makes me think "What does your house look like?". JFC pick up your trash.
SerialChickenLover
I mean, how is this any different than Coachella or any other event? People of all stripes do this.
Jerry7887
The donald will come back and pick up!

That the correlation of distance to garbage can is not the same as the causation of litter?

CardboardStomach
Or that even when committing acts of terrorism Americans can't be bothered to put shit in a trash can.
ontarioOT
I'm all for symbolism, but this seems a little too on the nose.

i mean.. this is pretty much any shitty concert I've been to, that whole pack it in pack it out vibe is far from universal.
Spiffytown
Crunchy hippie hiker environmentalists are not the target demographic here bro

What was the death toll this time? Seems anywhere Trump voters go people start dying.

Specifically Butler County, PA, or America in general?

Not Trump.

My thought exactly. He doesn’t pay anybody

He has a history of NOT paying for his Bills period. That History goes back decades.
AllGloryToTheDarkLord
I didn't see the question in the title. I thought they were commenting about it not being a Trump rally.
BoboTheIceMan
Cause they are replying to the question in the title?

Lol, oh.. I didn't see that part.
