Because they're not psychic. And if they told you 'you'll be fine' it would be incredibly irresponsible .

I dropped out of an IT course because I sucked at it and ended up in a graphic design course. Success is a journey, not a destination.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Well said!

Good Shit sir

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is that really you @OP

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah it is

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

prove it! :D

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ATAR is the best thing Australia has come up with /s

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm somewhat unashamed to admit that I somehow scored a lower ATAR. But a fair chunk of it is that I simply stopped caring in my final years

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Congrats and you have awesome hair

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

Thank you!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Congrats. I, too, have recently overcome adversity. v

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

As a guy who went thru the same thing, but without ADHD and finishing high school with 90% A's, this made me happy to see.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Fabulous work!

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Thank you :D

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In the words of Jim Jefferies, "That's the definition of stupid. When you have difficulty learning, that's textbook stupid"

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 4

Diagnosed in grade 3 with disabilities in math and in verbal and written english. Graduated college became tutor for that college course.

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 2

And am now making 85k a year at 30yrs old. Fuck the people who used to call me retarded

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

This is wholesome af, great work!

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

Australia? You look young for dyslexia not to have been identified during your education. Not saying bullshit, must have been a shit school

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Sadly a lot of people fall through the cracks. :\

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

Good lord that's a beautiful face

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

+1

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you for this. I shall share this with my son.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Have all except ADHD still top of my class with honors tell him we have to work harder but never give up!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you. I do but it doesn't hurt to remind him.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm glad it helps!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Impressive for a fetus

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Love it haha

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a Bachelor of Arts, though.

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 10

I have a Ba(Hons) and Ma, and earn $75k+ in a relevant field with under 10 years experience (and still climbing). Hardly a dead end.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

not only that, its a BA in communication

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What is the Art of communications?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Basically its things like; PR, Film Making, Politics, Journalism etc. Careers that lead you to be at the forefront of communication

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Which do you intend to follow through with? I'm only asking because through high school I've taken media and journalism classes and I'm

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

interested in some perspective.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

At the moment I'm specialised in the PR field and dable in film making

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

97 ATAR entry degree, though

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 8

Uts gives 10-15 bonus ATAR though. Again its UTS, go to UNSW and usyd can confirm it's harder. You paid 30k for insearch and it's arts.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

70k straight out of uni for me with a BA- Coms. I'm content

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sadly, i didn't get into any uni even with bonus points. It doesn't matter which uni or course is harder, i'm doing what i love

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nobody knows what that means outside your home state.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Couldn't that be said for every country?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Sure. From TV I know SAT & GPA are important for US, but I don't know what is a good score. Others? Uh, does UK still have A- or O-levels?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Found the engineer

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I am very smart and everybody needs to know about it.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Well, thank you! I didn't know but am glad i do now!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But she did her bachelor of arts, so.... you'll probably be able to find her working at Starbucks. Happy hunting.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Already been offered grad programs thanks

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

And good job overcoming your obstacles. Seriously. As an undiagnosed adhd kid (we were just bad students back in the early 80's), congrats.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bet that's not all you've been offered after posting this. Wink

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*sigh* unfortunately

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's what you get for being ridiculously good looking and somewhat similarly to a popular actress that lots of internet ppl have boners 4

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's awesome. Just poking a little fun. My degree is technically arts too, even though it's IT/business based

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha all g. Just had an inflex of rude people so sorry for the sass. That's awesome!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Congrats friend.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I would have fought other kids to sit next to you

8 years ago | Likes 726 Dislikes 12

That's really why the parents didn't wanting their kids sitting next to her. Who wouldn't be distracted?

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

Cause she's pretty, right?

8 years ago | Likes 160 Dislikes 3

No, bc adhd people are my jam

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, because I also have dyslexia, dysgraphia and ADHD and it would have been awesome to sit next to someone who understands how its like

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

No bc she's hella smart

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

In the words of the 90s: Duuuuuuuuuuuuh

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Absolutely!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Were I unwed, I would take her in a manly fashion.

8 years ago | Likes 125 Dislikes 6

I’m in wedlock, and would take her in a beastly fashion.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 8

Cause she's pretty?

8 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 2

Right?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Cause she's pretty.

8 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 3

Nothing wrong with using naysayers as a reason to persevere. But when you succeed, be classy about it. A gloating post shows poor character.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Beauty and brains? So.. you're not single. Congrats on the hardwork @OP!!

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 10

Was snapped up a few years ago haha. Thank you!

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 3

“Bachelor of Arts in Communication” Brains is debatable.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 8

dick comment

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh your far superior brain doesn't approve of her accomplishments

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I don't know, I think a dyslexic person getting a communications degree is a pretty nice accomplishment.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Accomplishment, yes, of course. Quite a big one. But it doesn't change the intrinsic value of a communications degree.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Thanks! Comms degrees in Australia have a 97 ATAR or Distinction GPA entry. PR major will get you an average a 70k uni leavers salary.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For your sake I hope that's true. Where I live there are many more PR majors than there are open PR positions.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I don't even know what half of those disorders mean. Actually, literally half, of the four I don't know what dysgraphia or dyscalculia mean

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dysgraphia results in bad handwriting and drawing. Discalcula is difficulty with numbers/caculations. (going off memory, i could be wrong)

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

A+ :D

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Dysgraphia is a disorder with written expression and Dyscaluila affects mathematical development and understanding :)

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Dyscalculia is like dyslexia, but with numbers/math. I have it and it sucks. I can barely read the hands on a clock, and still...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hmm I have all these issues... well

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Couldn't hurt to get tested.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...use my fingers to do simple math. I get lost driving to places I've been a hundred times, and get confused counting money. Other than...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

...my math issues, though, I consider myself of at least average intelligence. ::shrug::

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They're learning *difficulties* though... right?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Never never never quit! Well done!!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thank you!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What are you planning on doing with an Arts degree in Communications? ♀️

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I majored in Pubic Relations, so hoping to go into that field :)

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

The pubic relations field, eh? Don't you mean bush?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh hell, there's even a double-entendre Australian joke in there.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure PR, journalism ect

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ayyyyye its JP!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I got diagnosed with adhd recently. I didn't do well in school. You're inspiring me.

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 2

Wellcome to the tribe. Here is a great ADHD YouTube chanel to cheack out. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-nPM1_kSZf91ZGkcgy_95Q

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I only got diagnosed at 22. Getting on meds was life changing in the best way possible. Still go through crap about not actually having it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I barely graduated at a crappy public school, ~1.25 GPA. Went to college at age 26 and graduated with 140+ hours@3.9 GPA in 2014. (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Will make 100K this year. Regardless of everything going on in the world, you are in control of your life and you can do it. (2/2)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Never give up on your dreams! You will do amazing things. Best of luck :)

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

Tbh... I don't know what my dreams are... I know one thing I want to do, but costs heaps... And nobody takes the ideas seriously.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You should look on Linkedin and forums and survey your target audience and hopefully your idea will be able to grow to a reality :)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Go get em', Sansa!

8 years ago | Likes 3568 Dislikes 4

Chaos is a ladder.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Makes sense because her parents are probably siblings

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 11

Ouch!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're thinking the Lannisters, the Stark parents weren't related. But also, seriously, not cool dude.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Oh so it's ok to fap to it and fantasize about it, but not ok to joke about it. Fucking hypocrite u ppl are.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Wtf are you on?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A dose of aggression towards all non doggo/kittlen living things. Sometimes being mean at reposts is therapeutic

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No joke, I had to double check too!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The North Remembers (But not North of the Harbour Bridge, because there’s nothing over there honestly)

Of course there is, there is the creatively named town of North Sydney

Congrats girl! And wow you are gorgeous !

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I struggled in grade school too, but "rocked the hell out of med school" (hubby's words, not mine) it feels good to finally succeed.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have dyscalculia as well, school sucked. But I got my masters!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You pulled a real "how do you answer these charges... Lord Baelish" on em.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I had my share of bad teachers, but my teachers were never like any of yours. Where in the Hell did you go to school? I'm sorry.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"you're a slow learner... Its true..... But you learn."

8 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 0

Great comment is great.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Despite everyone telling you to give up all your life. My mom was the worst offender.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The fetus is not the cleetus, in fact she will defeatus

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you heard of Arrowsmith, it's approach is through neuroplasticity ? It works at all ages as the brain remains plastic throughout life

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I didn't know that rock n' roll was so helpful. Amazing!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

????I'd forgotten about that Arrowsmith!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2nd time I've seen this...Phoebe in both usernames. I is confused...

8 years ago | Likes 320 Dislikes 9

Same person, same account, just misspelling in the original post so deleted it, and people thinking my original username was my actual name

8 years ago | Likes 416 Dislikes 9

so you're not an actual fetus then?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ahh ok. Again, congratulations.

8 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 2

Thanks so much

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I completed it in public relations

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Ur really good looking

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Easy way to confirm this. I go to UTS too, what's the name of the bar?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I kind of feel like leaving it with the typo would just up the "fuck you" factor

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A little bit hahaha

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh this is the actual person not just a random repost? All the congrats, then!

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

haha yeah, thanks so much!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

May I ask if you are considering any graduate studies at this time? I took five years off before pursuing my legal education.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

At the moment I have the option of going to do grad work or going on to do my honours. Not sure which to choose though

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you seem nice and i'm happy for you. i hope you don't get flooded with a certain kind of pic just because you're pretty too. good job

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thanks so much! :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Congrats on all the achievements! Keep at it girl! You can do eeeeeet!!!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Crap Bag

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

????smelly cat smelly it's not your fault

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would you do that, Phoebe? Just go on the internet and tell lies.

8 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 3

I lied - Phoebe the fetus sounded more metal

On the brightside, it's not a Sansa joke haha

8 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 1

What !? You don`t have a Sansa humor ..... I`l see my self out-...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ATAR = Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

10/10 that's actually right :D

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You just need to survive two more years and the Sansa jokes will stop and the Jean Grey jokes will begin.

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

...fuck

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

You prefer Carrot Top? You should pray your knees bloody being thankful you don't look like that dude....

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Hot chick being compared with other hot chicks. Could be worse.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

And then to rub it in more, you also became super hot.

8 years ago | Likes 2353 Dislikes 21

I have a redhead also, she is a hot redhead. Smart one, also even hotter!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorta looks like she also got a Masters degree in photoshop

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

My first thought exactly.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

dude, stop hitting on the disabled chick.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Right!? Some people have everything. Bastards.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Like Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, and ADHD

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

In commemoration, i too shall rub something more.

8 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 8

Became? Then you haven't seen her first grade photos

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

When she was... a hot first grader?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

what about the reality in which first graders are hot? the answer is: don't think about it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She stole the souls of all that mocked her.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

meh, hot girls can pass any class without doing anything. especially if they act stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 19

Perhaps at some institutions, but not all, therefore "any class" is super incorrect.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Right, yeah that totally happens all the time and isn't just in the movies and in your head.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Irrelevant. -1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

In my country, prettier/sluttier students' grades usually get higher for no apparent reason. Not saying this is the case, but shit's real.

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 80

I have no idea why you got downvoted... I mean, I have an idea...but you have said nothing wrong.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

There's a 30 Rock episode with Jon Hamm about that topic, how the attractive have easier lives. Worth a look.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Why is this getting downvoted? It was just a statement... and they even said that thid wasn't the case, they were just shedding some light..

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Because people feel like being cunts. Clearly.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What country is that?

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Spain according to op's comments but my country also suffers from the same problem, all the attractive people are smart too.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

You're correct.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What country is that?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I went to Barcelona and noticed how all the cops look like Abercrombie models.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You can fix beauty but you can fix stupid. She's got both. Kicking ass as far as I'm concerned.

8 years ago | Likes 261 Dislikes 19

You said she has beauty and stupid and neither can be fixed. Go get tested!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No, I said that people who are stupid and ugly can fix those things. But she has both beauty and intelligence. So she is kicking ass.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every fucking time.. do people just not care about using CAN'T right

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They can't even

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Didn't intend to. I used "but" when I meant to use "and".

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What?

Intended to say and but the expression must have influenced my mistake.

What

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Did you just... Did you just say she has stupid?

8 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

No, she doesn't have to fix either.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Ay?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So... I can fix both?

8 years ago | Likes 165 Dislikes 0

But you can fix both.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but you can't fix comments on imgur

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

With an open mind and good study/research habits, you can

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a very positive message.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is that saying about not being able to. Though I believe you can. It just takes honest determination.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think you might have misspelled in your original is his point...

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Could be

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends on how stupid and how ugly

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

True

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nothing a little bit of plastic surgery and brain transplants won't fix ;)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Will a head transplant do instead

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never ended up graduating myself. But jokes on them no diploma, no GED and im making 15/hr doing control room security. Not bad for 24 imo.

8 years ago | Likes 106 Dislikes 15

I mean, go you, but it's nothing to brag about.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have college-graduated friends working fast food with 40k+ in debt. I barely finished high school and living comfortably on $11/h. Also 24

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I make $15.50/hr as a healthcare billing specialist & technically my highest diploma is my GED. I'm in college getting my Bachelors though.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

(Cost of living is quite low in Arkansas so I get by quite well).

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I finished school with a BA in economics and finance. I have about 27k in debt but I'm making more than twice that. There are many roads.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Youre doin ok

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

General answer to urbody. I live in the midwest and life is cheap. Im content with a simple life.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fantastic!

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I didn't finish high school. Made around the same amount in my early 20s. Now up to 105/hr (Canadian) at 37. You can improve your position

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Without formal education. You just need to become known in your industry.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oil sands ?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's your industry?!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you. I’m making due with what I got. Currently looking for a change of scenery. Working at a bank isn’t really my bag, baby.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m currently in making 72k/year. Thats a reason I’m scared to get out. Starting school and starting over doesn’t seem fun.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don’t blame you. 72k ain’t bad and I’m sure there’s opportunity for you to move up at some point

I mean, congrats, but isn't the whole goal of uni to have perspectives, not to have a high starting wage? I know I'll start out lower than

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

Actually started out at 12.50/hr. My performance review went so well i got a promotion.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

my friends by being an uni assistant, but with degrees, I'll get paid more than majority of them, while doing sth I love. That's the goal.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

The way I see it is you'll never love anything that makes you leave your bed everyday but you can hate it a lot less than other stuff

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Lol never have I known someone to choose a degree path based on perspective. The question is always "what's starting salary?"

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

I'd like to point out most people are idiots.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Uh, what? You do know how abysmal starting wages for doctors are? And how incredibly crazy their hours are? Same for lawyers, unless you

have a reserved job in a good firm (by networking/connections), you'll be earning very little, but after few years, you'll climb.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're doing well! I never finished highschool either and I'm on about 60k per year. The sky's the limit :)

8 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

30/hr nice! What field do you specialize in?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Debt collection, mostly. It's not a pretty job, but the pay is good. I am trying to move back into case management.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's so amazing to hear! Thank you, and you're doing well too

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Meanwhile I completed college, was pulling in $60k/year, realized I hated it, and run a tea company now. Could have fucking skipped college

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Aside from a few important majors, college is a waste of money, possibly with the exception of something cheap like community college.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That was my fear. I was studying to be a paralegal for a while, until I realised that I hated it. I hope you're happier now. :)

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Where i work with no degree a person can make up to 100k a year. Im on that path. At 50k currently but fuck i hate this job.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How does it feel? Great i bet haha

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, sorta? I haven't found a replacement job yet, but I'm being picky. Fortunately I've got side jobs as a software dev aplenty.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The job I was gunning for rejected me because of some claimed experience discrepancy I made during my interview? 1/?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The way I see it is you put up with the bs now so that you can enjoy your life outside of work.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh i do. Only stresses in my life are work.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know how you feel, but I can tolerate it for now. Good luck to you with yours!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yeah same here, debt is the reason im here

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Me too. I need a job that pays well so I can reduce my working hours and study, without losing control of my bills.
