So, on the one hand, Mom might, in fact, get it. On the other hand, I know explaining a joke ruins it and all, but, with something like this, why *not* explain it? For one thing, your mom now knows something new about the Internet which might be useful in the future. For another thing, your mom now knows why this is funny and can enjoy finding the number 404 in the future.
