B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell and a P-51C

P-51D doing a run up before departure

B-17 doing a run up before departure

B-24 starting to taxi for departure. This thing was so loud you could hear it through towers transmissions while it was on its takeoff roll.

Someone should tell them the war is over.

Old warbirds are lasting longer than a lot of newer aircraft ever will. +1 (a thousand if I could) Thank you for this.

I apologize for the quality of the photos. Only had my phone at the time.

No need to apologize. Having a phone in WWII is a pretty big deal.

A dream of mine to drive a P-51 or a F4U Corsair. Even just once!
