Never played personally, but I enjoyed your dump.

Good job on the dice. They r all on the highest number so the luck will charge properly

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Anyone remember the list Things Mr. Welch is no longer allowed to do in an RPG?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lame Strike.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The boblin one hurts. I've had 2 sessions, both 3 hours long wasted as the party was discussing what to do as they saw a shady guy in an inn

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Boblin the Goblin. I like him.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Poor Boblin the Goblin.

Dice tax, you say?

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I feel this should have one of those "Celebrate Diversity" captions on it.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#25 did exactly this last night all with advantage because of the samurai’s fighting spirit

That dice tax is beautiful!I like the sparkly red ones especially.

#11 Last night both clerics realized that they had access to a divine intervention that could theoretically teleport us to the final boss

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 before he's ready to take us on. Both deities responded with, basically, "you need the XP you'll be getting on the way".

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I frickin didn't understand any of this

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Get some nerd friends

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People have all these matching dice, and all mine were just a small mix of whatever with d6 taken from board games.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And yours is just as special as anybody else's! :)

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Take the yellow slide on #23 it deals more damage on average. It’s minimum is 2 whilst the other can roll 1

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I like the Bianca reference. I always trade him for Sera immediately after Red Jenny though.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Explain please

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

From the video game Dragon Age: Inquisition. Bianca is the name of the crossbow that the first rogue in your party uses. 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sera is a lesbian rogue. She is better IMO because the first rogue can only use Bianca in battle. So you have to continuously craft upgrades

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And he calls it "A miracle of Dwarven Craftmanship" in the game as well. He is a Dwarf.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So my character was just killed by a party member "cause it is what my character would do" a years worth of work done. I sent him that meme.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Your DM seems like a bit of a dick to allow that.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The most important thing to remember is this is supposed to be fun. In the end, you are in control of your character's actions.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If "That's what my character would do" would make it less fun, you can just **not do that thing** and the world doesn't explode.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A lot of people seem to have trouble with this concept/use it to act like shitty people.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Current character is a teenager, I use it to act like an idiot, because teenagers are dumb, but not to harm the party, just his own interest

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So what’s the difference between a wizard and a warlock?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One has a book, the other has a sugar daddy

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

So a wizard learns spells and a warlock is granted spells by some sort of magical being?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I laughed, the bard laughed, the table laughed...

6 years ago | Likes 91 Dislikes 0

We killed the table

6 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

It was a good time

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good times...

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

After the bard failed his role when seducing the table

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I love you guys so much

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Laminate dead lol.... okay that adds a letter but its really late and it made me giggle

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

... that's... not necessarily useless if you have to do a bit of a hike to get to a rez.

It bothers me that the d8's are below the d6's

6 years ago | Likes 282 Dislikes 2

And the D10s are on 9 and two are on six

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

a lot of us gamers have a hard time lining up a good d8.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The red d9s are the only dice not showing the highest number

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

and the d9s have 10 sides.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now that you point it out it bothers me

6 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 2

Where is your 10's place D10?! It's missing from every set. :<

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

He has the d10's, he's missing the percentile dice from each set.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And that the D20 all the way to the right isn't part of the set

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

It actually is. You just can't see the blue on the others

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Came here to say this

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The rightmost set is red/blue multicolor, it's not obvious from the middle dice but the d4 is obviously blue on top.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I stand corrected

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The d8 is also blue on one side, but that's easy to pass off as an imagined shadow.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

At least they r all on the highest number so that the luck can charge properly

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Mine charge properly on 1.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

d10s aren't

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Generally, a percentile roll that comes up 00 is kinda... dangerous.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fun. The word I think you're looking for there is "fun".

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When it's "gm's choice" it really depends on the GM.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Conker's Bad Fur Day tells me this is a Perform check.

6 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

Is it bad that all these years later I have that entire scene committed to memory?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

We found an original cartridge of that game last month and I was shocked to find that, 20 years later, I still remembered all the words

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How could that possibly be a bad thing?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#1 What's the difference between a wizard and a warlock? Is there a difference in how they learn magic, or is just that warlock=evil=steal?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

In story terms, wizard = studied for magic, warlock = made a pact with something for magic.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wizards learn magic through study. Warlocks gain magic through a patron who gives them their power via a pact.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

in rules terms, wizard = wide range of spells; varied effects, warlock = narrow range of spells, some extra abilities.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Aka a fuckton of invocations that either buff Eldritch Blast, suck outright, or are super situational. Or are super situational AND suck.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wizards cast spells using their big brains. Warlocks cast spells using their big dicks. And I dare anyone who disagrees, fight me.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I thought that was bards?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah, that's the power of Rock. Easy to get them confused.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The joke I've always heard is, wizards are the students who study hard for the test, warlocks fuck the professor. Basically, warlocks 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

don't have any natural magical ability - and I guess neither do wizards, just sorcerers. The difference is, warlocks took the quick way 2/3

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

to power and got themselves a patron - possibly by accident. This patron is the source of their magic, and can be good or evil equally.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Although, it's probably safe to say that an Infernal patron is probably going to be evil, and a Celestial will probably be good.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Warlocks do not have power of their own. They are lent power by some benefactor, but that must be paid back. 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Warlocks, contrary to popular belief, don't have to get their power from eldrich abominations, they can also get power from archfey, 2/3

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Celestials, plain old demons, and even a sentient sword. They then channel the power of their patron, rather than generate it themselves 3/4

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Another comparison can be made for sorcerers, who gain their power from their lineage, and do not require formal training. 4/4

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Huh. I always thought these titles were interchangeable. I didn't know there were such specific definitions.
