I remember in 94, Northridge earthquake. The Budweiser plant I'm the area ceased alcohol production and gave everyone water in cans.

People forget that soft drinks were literally watered local beers where water quality was poor. \

Not for sale means no one should try to resell a product that has been donated during times of disaster.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My grandparents still have some of these from the floods of 1993.

They take the color out

8 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 9

Are they donating to Flint?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There were lots of these donated to the MS Gulf Coast after Katrina nailed us; it was good to have them...no water, power, gas for 100 miles

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I have a 6 pack of these. they taste like they came from Flint Michigan

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

We had a bad storm that flooded our water treatment plant and we got a bunch from these guys

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These were provided in 1993 during the major flooding that occurred through Iowa and Missouri. We lost our water plants. @op

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They did this a few years back for some huge fires near Bastrop, TX, too.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

It's Bud Light, they just put a different label on it and no one notices.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The company I use to work for converted the bottling plant to bottle water for the bushfires east to transport and everything's clean.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These are for disaster relief. We received some when our family's home flooded in 1994.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Shout out to Columbus from here in the Short North!!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nice, I live close to the plant right now

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Drinking domestic light beer is like making love in a canoe, it's fucking close to water.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 11

Nice. I'm gonna steal this joke and tell it to my friends later to seem witty. Thanks :) +1

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Hey, I live close to that brewery

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Budweiser is a high quality consistent high volume beer unmatched by any other brewery in the world. Also clydesdales baller draft horsey

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Wasnt me that said it but the brewer of samuel adams perhaps you know him give him a call im sure he will school ur bitch ass

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Unmatched in what respect? Consistency? Volume? I'm not trying to insult it here - snobbery is beneath me - just curious what you meant.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Every day, every ongoing brew from around the country is couriered to one location where a panel of tasters monitor its progress. If ->

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they agree it is 'off' they get another sample and take corrective measures. If it isn't corrected, they immediately drain the batch, ->

separating the alcohol to be sold for industrial purposes, the grain for use as animal feed, and the water is purified for reuse or ->

drinking. Nothing is wasted, the new vessel is made available to start a new batch ASAP, and the master brewer is in deep shit.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is real, they donated a bunch of these in Houston during the Katrina disaster

8 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 0

My parents have worked there for decades, hate the company now but this. They did a lot over the years and I hope their new owners continue

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And they were everywhere in Miami, Homestead, and the Florida Keys after Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Good job, A.B. Cheers.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

In Iowa also during the 1993 floods when Des Moines lost it's water treatment plant.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

And in the Valmeyer area of flooding too.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As did Coke

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a joke referring to Budweiser and water basically being the same thing. They got week ass beer.

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 15

These were made to help send badly needed drinking water after a devastating storm

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Bud ice nigga

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

The same joke will be made of: PBR, Coors Light, Millwalkies Best, pretty much any major beer that's been around.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Weak*

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Is Budweiser the same in the UK as the US? I am an ale drinker normally but like a Bud! It does give me headaches tho :/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah it's the same worldwide

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I happen to enjoy Budweiser, and all you hipsters can suck my dick

8 years ago | Likes 214 Dislikes 34

Weakling

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 28

Budweiser Black Crown.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably tastes better than bud anyway

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

I prefer irish coffee.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I, too, enjoy a fine, crisp glass of ice water.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 10

I personally prefer IPA , but to each his own

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 11

They're stereotyped to like PBR, so really I'm not sure what they're all high and mighty about.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Its like making love in a canoe

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 19

Enjoy what you want, but you can't say it better than MOST craft beer out there. Hate on hipsters all day, they make good beer/food.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

They might, but it's the smug condescension I can't abide.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Budweisers fine. It's Bud lite that tastes like watered down horse piss

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

Horse piss is much better when it isn't watered down?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

I'd rather have it over miller or Coors if I'm going to drink beer.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 4

Ice cold Coors Light is a decent cheap pint. Obviously there's better, but at that price, in the uk at least, it's decent.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Fyi, miller owns coors. Or at least the last time I talked to my friend who worked in the coors brewery

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Anheiser/Busch (the guys who make Budweiser) owns Miller and coors. Bought them July 2016 for 107b. All piss beer is made by same company

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Honestly don't care. When I drink I'd rather drink hard liquor than shitty beer. Also pretty sure they are all owned by the same company. 1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If not then might as well be cause they all suck. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If I'm going to drink cheap crappy beer, Bud's fine. But there's way better cheap beers. And I'm no hipster or beer snob. Gimme a Shiner.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 7

Once you realize that they're all the same, you just go with the cheapest. So PBR for me

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Hell yeah. I love a for Shiner Bock

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I like shiner, but people tend to forget "better" is subjective.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You have your opinion, it's just incorrect. That's fine! Lots of people have incorrect opinions. For instance, everyone who disagrees w/me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm all about Rolling Rock. $4.35 for a six-pack at my local gas station, and it's delicious.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Yeah, I've had that. Good choice if that's what you want. Inoffensive, nearly flavorless, which is what almost all the cheap ones are like.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wouldn't call it "nearly flavorless", it's just a very standard taste. It's just, ya know, beer. RR wins though cause it's light and 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/2 has a real crisp finish that's great on a hot day or after work. Plus, Red Foreman drinks it on That 70's show. So bonus points there.
