Zero - 2011

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOMbySJTKpg
An interesting animated short about class, racism, forbidden love, hate, and the struggles of a lifetime of loneliness, all represented by numbers.

Balance - 1989

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wJj58aLvdQ
This one's a little weird, but it won an Oscar, so It's also pretty damn good. I'd be spoiling something if I even talked a little about it, so if you like older, slightly creepy stop-motion, check it out.

Alarm - 2009

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lc-vINJmhNk
This one's a bit different, not really having a moral (some of these are just for fun). It's a short about the mundane tasks of a white-collar worker in the morning. The animation and style in this one are pretty top notch.

Slimtime - 2011

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZYVogCYsdA
As his wife undergoes a "slimming" procedure, a man by the name of André takes a tour of the '70s retro-futuristic Slimtime spa.

Sebastian's Voodoo - 2009

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ePWK0qfisE
This one tells a story in a few short minutes that remains powerful and macabre at the same time. Plus there's cute little voodoo dolls.

The Backwater Gospel - 2011

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVkDrIacHJM
This one's probably my favorite on the list. An omen of mass destruction is headed to a western town, and a local religious leader attempts to silence those who warn of this threat. Nifty stuff ensues. The animation style alone is enough to give this one a shot.

Greed - 2008

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ktbj-WpzgvQ
A man involved in some form of shady activity discovers a blemish on his face that summons gold, but as more magical acne covers his face, more really weird stuff starts to happen.

Sintel - 2010

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRsGyueVLvQ&list=PL6B3937A5D230E335&index=5
A woman named Sintel is on a quest to find her baby dragon that she nursed back to health from a bigger dragon. Complications arise. This one was actually an open movie made by the Blender Foundation using 3D open source software known as Blender.

Heavenly Appeals - 2009

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYq_35xJtFYA well-meaning demon presents his appeals case to gain entrance to heaven, but a rather spherical angel just ain't havin' it.

This Side Up - 2009

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCC7rFxo6QA
A man gets a new computer and doesn't quite know the ins and outs of it yet.

R'ha - 2013

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUiTHNVPCp8
An interrogation between an AI and an Alien, sweet. Side note, a sequel is now in production.

You live in a world. Get outside, ride a bike. Breath some air, exercise some. Go swimming

There's an animated short I saw once where this militaryesque bigger lady had a bunch of small dudes that she made jump off a giant

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(2) high dive and took a picture of the body on the ground and animated them into a dance. It was beautiful

(3) but I've never been able to find it since then.
