It's .50 BGM right? Did the price drop or something? Last I heard getting them for 5 was cheap.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dunno, I thought they were like $5-7 a piece, but some ammosexual on here went berserk on me last time I said so. I don’t buy them, so idk.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah it's more like $7 per round.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I heard it from a friend who shoots though, so just asking.

I own a Desert Tech SRS A1 in .338 Lapua and have never even thought about shouldering it.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Gotta admit it does look kinda fun tho! To hell with accuracy!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

At 4-5.00 a shot, if he's reloading, that's enough to give you pause.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't care what kind of screening process you have, a gun like this should never see civilian hands.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 10

But how else am I going to protect myself when buildings come alive and I need to kill one?

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Okay I laughed. +1

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

why not? What compared the other guns makes this worst?

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

It looks aggressive, big, dangerous and fun, only hunting rifles with hand carved stocks should be allowed.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

When only hunting rifles are allowed they'll start calling them military style sniper rifles and try to ban them too

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Scope and stopping-power, I guess. But both are usefull for hunting, afaIk, and hunters are civilians. Just make it tough to get.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I used to hunt. You don't need something that powerful to take down a moose, never mind a deer.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why make it hard to get if it has legitimate uses in hunting? Which firearms wouldn't be hard to get in that system?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because you don't need something that powerful to hunt. This will tear your target apart for nothing.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Hard to get relative to e.g. bolt-action rifles of the same calibre. Which are still sufficient for hunting, afaIk.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Caliber of the round. No civilian needs that much power. Either for home defense or hunting. You don't need something that powerful to hunt.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

.50 caliber is the maximum for cartridges. Anything larger needs a named exception from the ATF or be used most for sporting, like 12 gauge.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the education, I did not know that.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the answer, I disagree with your conclusion but fully understand your reasoning

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

+1 for agreeing to disagree in a civil manner.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

people get too emotional about guns, political discourse on the manner would be so much better if everyone would just calm down and breathe

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Show me where the 2nd says anything about hunting, and then show me a crime committed with a 50 cal.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Same place the first amendment talks about slander I guess? Also even if the 2nd amendment superseded all gun control laws that's 1/

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

not what he's saying, he's making a comment on what he thinks should be legal, 2nd amendment got shit to do with that 2/2
