They're tough to photograph sometimes, so this is one of the best pics of the night.

Tiny Krampus! He hit me after I took the picture.

SELFIE!

Dad's looking stylish in the Salzburg Fortress

View from the Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg

View across what was once the Nazi rally grounds. Today it has been given over to trees, and makes a good park for doggos. The far site where the grandstand once stood now makes a good sled hill for children.

Continuing the climb into Hohenwerfen Fortress

The unfinished congress hall for the Nazi Party in Nuremberg. The building is in the shape of a horseshoe, and was meant to have a self-supporting roof over it. It luckily went unfinished, and now houses a museum and apparently the Nuremberg Philharmonic.

The Ehrenhalle, or Hall of Honor. Originally a memorial for the First World War, it was used by the Nazis as the centerpiece of a massive ceremony meant to commemorate the dead of the Beer Hall Putsch. The inscription today memorializes the dead of the First and Second World Wars, as well as the Holocaust.

The Rathaus in Munich, very difficult to get the whole thing is one photo.

Wtf is in #2?

A Krampus. Currently loving in western Austria. The Krampus is part of the Christmas tradition, sort of a counterpart to Santa Claus.
