As a quick aside, there might be a pause in my posting for the next few days. Going in for surgery on my shoulder today and I don't know what recovery will look like just yet. I'll try not to let it stop me from posting, but I can't guarantee that. See you all on the flip side!
EDIT: Turns out it was more complex than they were prepared for, so now I have to wait another 5 - 6 months for the proper procedure! WHEEE! The joys of navigating the medical system! lol

Is it a replacement? I went through a total one last year, and I was able to do things like texting and typing as long as I didn't need to raise my arm from the sling. It shouldn't hold you up too long at all.

Nah, thankfully it's for something simple. Just removing some kind of fatty tissue mass. Nothing concerning, but because of the position, size, and depth of it, it's not just a simple in and out, it's some actual work. I expect it will be a pain in the butt during recovery, since that's the arm I use the mouse with. lol

Understood, but as I said, with mine, I could still use the mouse as long as I kept my arm in the sling they had me in to stabilize it. I was to only move my wrist minimal amounts while doing so.
