I feel like getting nothing or getting a shitty gift is kinda the expected outcome though. Nice gifts are a bonus to blessing a stranger.

I did it 2 years. second year nothing sent to me so I decided to call it quits. Was nice giving but it’s getting exploited more and more.

I’ve been doing it for 4 years and this is the first time I’ve been assigned a backup santa. Luck of the draw but I’ve been lucky.

Don’t get discouraged, I was feeling the same first year (didn’t get any gift and my giftee didn’t post my gift) but I still keep going

I've never done the Secret Santa before. My fear is that I wouldn't know what to get the person or that it wouldn't be good enough.

I have never done secret santa, is it good? But i do give gifts to foster kids at work. I gave to 3 and 61 kids in total got presents.
