My wife and I absolutely adore our ferrets, and I couldn't help but share a few gifs I've made of them.

Remi and Poppi fight to the death.

Man vs Beast

Learning the controls of a new game after playing an older one for so long.

Remi is empty cookie box slayer.

Odd thing about ferrets is that they can grow quite attached to you. This is Remi pouting right after my wife had left to go shopping. He literally flattens out on the floor and pouts whenever one of us leaves.

I'm going to try and comfort him. Poor little buddy.

That face.

Mission accomplished I think.

We got Remi when he was only six weeks old, and he used to be able to fit through the tube at that age.

Poppi is carpet slayer.

Interspecies snuggling is the best kind of snuggling.

The End.

I wanna see the full tanks shots! They look like pretty tanks! The ferrets are cute, too, but let's see the fish!

Do cat-snakes even have a spine? Or any bones for that matter

They're adorable!! I wish I had a second ferret so that my Tartine wouldn't be alone now that I work full-time, but I don't have the budget

Fuck... I miss my Darnell... I can hear the dookdookdook

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are they that hyper most of the time?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Our two are for about 3 hours. The rest is spent sleeping

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just remember, don't buy from petshops, they're supplied by a ferret mill. Support your local breeders or rescues instead

I adore your squigglyfloofs.

Never met a ferret or a ferret owner's home that didn't stink.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's because they all do. ALL of them. No matter how often they clean the cage.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They kill babies, but they are cute

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All the love to your fuzzy babies! I love mine so much! ❤️❤️

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Crazy cat snakes! They are amazing!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Aren't ferrets total assholes? I don't know otherwise, I'm only going by what I've heard. How are yours?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Spaz, personified in a single mammal.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are they biters?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some can be but if you punish them theyll stop

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, they're very original really.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How gross does your house smell?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

If you take care of them properly, they don't smell. It just takes a lot more effort than a dog or cat.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They still stink no matter how diligent you are. I've known people who clean the cages twice a day. Their houses still reek to high heaven.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well, you do have to bathe the ferrets as well....

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...At which point the musk oil glands in the skin kick into overdrive to replace the oil that got washed out. And then they smell worse.

He probably is thinking about eat one of them

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

My dog and ferret live "peacefully" together. They may get rowdy but it's clear there's love there. You shouldn't be so sceptical :/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do they make good pets? My wife is deathly allergic to cats but she wants a small animal really bad.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are a lot of work to keep clean and from smelling the house up, but I believe they are hypo-allergenic. Or at least I think they are.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are so happy. My old roommate had one and he stole shit all the time. Had to move the couch and beds every 2 days to find missing stuff

9 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 0

I've always had an issue with losing things. While I had a ferret it stopped being a problem. Because he'd find it and "steal" it.

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

It was actually easier to keep track of my things with a ferret because I just had to check his stash. Always there.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

That is so true! Hers like to steal bags of chips WHILE you were eating them. Once ate a packet of fruit stripe gum & pooped colors for days

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

@OP dook dook dook dook dook all the way home.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Bahahaha! Hair clips, socks, gum, jewelry, lighters, keys, glasses, mail etc etc etc.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ferret stashes are always impressive lol. I can't imagine all the stashes with two of them!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And 4 women w lots of stuff! The couch was the worst. Getting up into a little hole in the lining. Ugh! LOL! Had to finally cut the lining!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha yeah that's where we found Lucy's first stash lol. Also it's super kind of you guys to buy all those hair clips for them ;)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What are the bad sides of owning a ferret?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They stink. BADLY. Always. Even the supposedly "fixed" ones. The owners will swear they don't, but they just get used to it. It's gross.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are extremely time consuming, if you don't clean EVERY DAY then they and your stuff will stink. You gotta be really committed.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And all of your small items will be stashed.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They stink

"If you like the smell of urine, ferrets are the pets for you" - @studybutte

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

They are easy to kill. They can only have meat. They can get intestinal blockages easy if they get bored it decreases their life span

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you buy green cargo shorts and sleeveless hoodies with the hood up at all times.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Dammit. Shots fired. I would say that I had just got in from taking the dogs out, but your response is too good.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They smell terrible and can be very aggressive.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Smell. Chewing. Kleptomaniacs.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

We have mimi. If its interesting it gets stashed under her cage

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you like the smell of urine, ferrets are the pets for you

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 5

They are "musky" and if actually take good care of them and don't let their feces or URINE build up it won't smell as such. Mine roams.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Correct. I could smell this post as I scrolled down through the GIFs.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

If youre a shitty owner.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Even if you're not. They still stink. You just can't smell 'em anymore because you're used to it, but everyone else can. Trust me.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

No. If you clean their cage every day and feed them proper food the smell goes way way down.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Sorry, but no. That's just you as the owner getting desensitized to the smell. When people come over, believe me...It's still super strong.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yea. Its not though. Just because the situation you encountered was like that doesnt mean they all are. Trust me I know
