Are you connected through the coax input or the antenna? You should get an RF switch too, saves time when you want to watch a tape.

Reminds me of the PS2's version of Netflix

Don't forget to "be kind and rewind"

Who knew Mr. Plinkett had netflix!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This belongs back at its natural habitat, a thrift store electronics table.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This is indeed a stranger thing

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did that in my room a couple of years ago with a Roku player. My 27" hdtv died on me, so I grabbed an old TV I had in storage.

So jealous you can play duck hunt

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Was wondering why nobody mentioned duck hunt.

Was wondering why nobody mentioned duck hunt.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why must we play God?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because we can.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

How do you even hook this up?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Watch old shows like the x-files, it looks better on the old CRTs

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow, Russia is really coming up in the world

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

They saw Hillary's Netflix queue during a hack and want to see for themselves if Gigli really deserves the 5 star rating

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bandersnatch!!

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you live in Russia?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anybody remember sitting too close and your hair standing up?

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Playing with the up standing hairs while someone is rewinding the VHS to the perfect scene

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And it would crackle

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Running the back of your arm over it so it would crackle and the hairs stood up. Then poking someone.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I always felt so extraterrestrial when that happened.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is that running on an older wii

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably. I have an original Wii in my bedroom, and thats what the load screen looks like.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How nigga how

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i know one way, Netflix on PS3 with the RCA connector to a CRT TV

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I actually connected my PC to my CRT TV with Scart back in early 00's.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Time to watch Stranger Things~

9 years ago | Likes 258 Dislikes 5

I felt the mood better on 720p. On it highest resolution I could tell it was a set. Then again Im was stoned when I watch the show. Try it

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I forgot my plasma tv on that screen. Now I have Netflix burnt into the center permanently. Every time I turn on the tv, I feel dumb

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have that same tv

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup 6

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

4:3 never forget!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 114 Dislikes 2

No he still gets movies mailed to him

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Mom! Hang up the phone I'm online!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

By now someone picked up the phone and disconnected them. Time to start over.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

this comment deserves more upvotes

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I did not know you could get Netflix to work on that kind of tv.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Besides the xbox thing, you could also use an S-video cable, which were common at some point.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

With something like an xbox hooked up to it, you can run all kinds of apps. This was normal 7-8 years ago.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ahh yes. Totally forgot about the Xbox. I don't have one I guess that is why.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I went along time before getting an HDTV. This is not too different from my setup up until about 2011.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

out of curiosity, how old are you?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Out of curiosity, why?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

You're showing your age by asking if it'll work. All you need is a system that has an A/V cable, not HDMI.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

probably because consoles as recent as an XBOX 360 supported Composite Video, which would hook up to a CRT, to watch Netflix.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

At one point PS2 also had netflix

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Too few people remember the PS2 actually could have a network card.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

@Hydr0p0nik, yep, basically what ^ said. no shame in any age or tech-related gaps in any case.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Can't tell if flash is from a phone camera, digital camera, or the disposable camera you took to CVS to get developed. This post took days!

9 years ago | Likes 707 Dislikes 1

I actually took a disposable camera to CVS last week. They wouldn't develop it. Had to go to Walgreens and it took 5 days to develop.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Looks like a digital/scan made to be look shitty with a computer program. You can see the squares of compression artifacts

Polaroid

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In addition to the updated Polaroid Cameras.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gonads and strife though

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He had to wait for his mom to get off the phone so that he could use the internet.

9 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

One hour photo bro

9 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 1

Not anymore man, disposables have to be sent out now

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Found you in the wild.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Haha

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Gonads and strife though

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

GONADS IN THE LIGHTNING! IN THE RAIN!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Love this thing. OMG WEEEEEEEEEEE

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

To those young enough not to know, disposable cameras dont have pixelation.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Just blurriness when my Aunt takes a picture & forgets the flash and can't keep the camera still! (happened last summer at sisters wedding)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Either that or the picture you couldnt wait to see had your finger over the lens. Digital is convenient but I miss older cameras .

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Totally have a picture of when my family visited me at college and in the lower left corner is a black part from the person's finger.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good thing about those cameras is you got a wallet full of pictures with each roll of film. Nowadays for the most part they just 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

True, but we should leave room for the possibility that he used a wired hand-held image scanner to digitize the print and saved it in paint.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(For reference)

I actually took a disposable camera to CVS last week. They wouldn't develop it. Had to go to Walgreens and it took 5 days to develop.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I think they just mail them to a developing company these days. how much did it cost of you don't mind me asking

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

About $15. And it came with a disc. I had found an old disposable from 15 years ago so it was worth it to unlock the time capsule.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

With disposables they usually have to send them somewhere offsite. If you brought in a roll of 35mm, it'd ready in an hour or so.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not true. I worked 1 hour photo in the 90's, disposable cameras have a regular 35mm film roll inside, and AA batteries. They pop apart easy

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also the ones with a flash have a pretty strong capacitor in there, we'd charge them up and shock unsuspecting coworkers. Good times

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That was true... in the '90s. Many Walgreens etc now don't have the equipment onsite to deal with disposables, so they have to send them out

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You don't need anything special to develop a disposable 35mm camera's film vs. regular 35mm film though.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dont forget to change it to channel 3!

9 years ago | Likes 437 Dislikes 4

I had it on channel 0.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

But.. it's clearly on AV and working

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mine growing up was channel 2!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have 2 13" CRT TVs, both hooked up a Roku. It's Input for both. No flat screens in my house, but we have PCs, laptops & tablets.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TV/AV

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

On mine it was behind channel 1 and it was "input"

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Input Channel 3 for games, 1 for television. What the fuck did 2 even do?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a legend where If you find out you would be given magical powers

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it was channel 1

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
